Project Overview
Persephone is a teenage girl longing for freedom from her overbearing mother. When her mother finally starts a new job, Persephone suddenly gets thrown from a shadowed homeschooled life straight into high school. Luckily she’s got some pretty good friends to help her along the way, but will she be able to survive her new environment filled with an oncoming prophecy and will she deal with the separation from everything she once knew when she meets the schools bad boy Hades.

A smothered teenager, super bright, beautiful and naive, the object of Hades’ affection. She starts the musical off as a pushover and incredibly shy, but she later develops to be much more rebellious and free. 16-18 F Mezzo Soprano Belter
