This is an audio drama adaptation of the Dust spinoff series from the KonoSuba! Franchise, "Ano Orokamono ni mo Kyakkou wo!".
I have been producing main series adaptations as a solo project, but would like to branch out and expand the scope of the work.
Dust is dumb as a rock and sickeningly optimistic, overflowing with unearned confidence. Channel the worst parts of every comic relief character you can think of and that should put you in the right headspace.
You don't need to know a single word of Japanese, but a working knowledge of its phonetics is a huge plus.

[Trying to start a fight over a girl, completely oblivious] (Angry) Y-You can't threaten me with power! I don't give a damn about your status, let's settle this like men!
[Out on his luck, desperate for some cash] (Upset and accusatory) Bro they did me dirty, all like, 'time for a staycation after that huge payday', (heavily emphasized) et cetera. (Dejected) They gave my share away and won't do any quests with me, so I'm out to form a temporary party-- but everybody else in town is loaded right now too! Agh, man, warrior class guys are a dime a dozen... (Eager) So, how about it, if you need a vanguard I'm available.
[He's convinced himself that he's in the right, timing should reflect a disturbing yet comedic reveal] (Self important) Heheh, Kazuma, Kazuma... When you've been in this line of work for as long as I have, you learn the importance of thorough preparations. I booked the room next to his way ahead of time.
Sometimes crass, always tired, and never quite as angry as she seems. When she's not being jokingly mean, her usual sarcasm is punctuated with genuine honesty and openness. Despite this attitude toward her friends, she's often depicted as very humble toward strangers and acquaintances, as well as being somewhat timid in stressful or frightening situations.
There is some debate over the proper localization of her name. In original Japanese text it is リーン (rīn), however there's not really a good way to write it using the Latin alphabet that captures its proper pronunciation (Lynn, Lean, and Rin have all been used in various fan and official translations). I'm partial to Rin myself, but I have elected to use Lynn to encourage consistency and between actors and familiarity with the audience.

The man is genuinely nice but also a living pillar of thirst. I picture him having a pretty soothing voice that makes people gloss over his 'less refined' tendencies.

The closest thing to normal the cast has to offer. He's largely ambiguous, just about anything could fit him.

YunYun is endlessly apologetic and has about as much sense of self worth as an Xbox controller, but she slowly gains more confidence as the series progresses.

A succubus with the appearance and demeanor of a young girl. She is often very kind and trusting, often garnering the worry of her fellow succubi. At times she seems more like an angel than a demon, but she has a propensity for mischief.
