Hello and welcome to the casting call for the "Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san" Manga dub!
"The former Takagi-san and her daughter, Chi-chan, bring you this teasing home comedy. Is Dad going to make an appearance too?"
Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san (or Skilled Teaser (Former) Takagi-san) is a slice of life, romantic-comedy that follows the former Takagi-san and her life after getting married to Nishikata and eventually having their daughter, Chi. Even with another member of the family, Takagi still finds the time to tease the both of them, much to their dismay. Chi learned a lot from her mother, as she also teases her father, but she still can't out tease her mother, often falling victim to her mother's teasing. The loving teasing continues in this wholesomely sweet series.
The plan for this project is to dub the first volume of the manga, however, if there is interest, plans to dub later volumes may come to fruition.

Voice Actor
Takagi is one of the lead roles in this manga. She is a young, but mature woman that takes good care of her family but loves teasing them at the same time. Even though she has a knack for teasing both her husband and her child, she does it out of love.
Voice: Medium-high to high pitch; a soft, motherly tone that can tease well.

[Explaining to Chi about her new last name]
Well, you see back then, mommy's name last name was Takagi. But since I married your dad... mommy turned into a Nishikata too.
[Teasing Chi about her hiding something she wants to buy from the store]
Yeah, it's fine with me. You're working really hard on learning how to write your name after all. And besides... If I don't buy it, you're not going to put it back, right?
Voice Actor
Chi is the daughter of Takagi and Nishikata. She has a lot of energy is very mischievous and a little bit of a hassle to take care of, but she can be just as sweet. She gets easily flustered by her mother's teasing.
Voice: High, child-like voice. Full of energy, sounds like she's always up to something.
[Shocked and confused after seeing her mother's name in the yearbook.]
Hey, mommy! Your name is all wrong! It's not Nishikata!
[Curious and naive about asking who is the faster swimmer.]
Hey, mommy, daddy, which one of you is better at swimming?
[Scared and nervous at the thought of eating green peppers that Takagi wants to buy.]
Alright! Alright! I get it! So, just put the peppers down and back away, slowly...
