Jul and Lort: Tales of Adventure
Project Overview
A young girl Jul, age 24, takes in a troll, despite not being well liked by many in the magic community. It is her mission to protect and train Lort, the troll, to prove that any creature can stand on equal ground with another. However, with more challenges than she thought she would face; things may prove to be far more difficult to heed her superior's request.
What I'm looking for-
-Clear audio (little to no background noise)
-Good mic
-Try to record your lines 2-3 times with differing inflections
-Must have Discord
-Be nice to everyone who auditions!

Jul is a young woman who was given a young troll to take care of by her superior. In the eight years that followed she grew closer to him, giving him his name, and becoming his protector. She is usually serious and analytical, but always manages to smile around Lort. She never lets Lort down into the cellar, despite his many attempts to see what is down there.
This is our adventure for the day. (Ecstatic) We just have to head over to the cliff and then… (Triumphantly) We get our view back!
(Soft, comforting) Lort. I’m fine. I used magic to slow myself down before impact. The good news is that we’ve got our view back. Come on now, let’s get back home so I can treat these cuts, and I know you got splinters! Don’t bother trying to hide those! I’ll heal those as well.
(Desperate) No, Please, he didn’t do anything wrong. The only place he’s safe is with me. We just wanted our view back!
Although Lort is technically a child he is rather large and speaks in a deep, yet childish voice. It is clear through his actions that he is inexperienced and childish in his mindset. He can often be quite clumsy, given that he doesn't understand his strength, and is quick to apologize should Jul be upset or endangered.
(Enthusiastically) Yes, Jul! We need the lake!
(Confused) Why don’t you just use magic? A big fireball would obli- obil- obuhl-
(Lort is trying to say obliterate)
(Shouting after Jul) SORRY!
(This is his catchphrase. He says it a lot)
A mysterious orb of light who has guided Jul in raising Lort. He taught her how to properly wield magic, and how to survive on her own.
Make low humming noises at different pitches.
(Urgent) My lady, Glitterwhisk has changed the date of the meeting to tomorrow, as you are on your last warning! If he finds out about the dragon egg...
Jul, there is a spell Lionik wrote in your diary on the last page. It is used to pull the memories from the flora in a certain area. If you can pull that off in front of the fairies, and it shows someone abandoning that egg in an unfamiliar habitat, then you can do it!
(The name is pronounced like Lion Nick)
The admiral in a past war. His natural instinct to protect the innocent led him to save a young troll and set his underling free. He is noble and loyal, sacrificing anything to save those he cares about.
(Shouting desperately) Swear to me, Juliet! Swear that you will protect the child!
(Whispering) I know that you will do great things, isn't that all that matters. That's why I know you'll find me. I have to go with them, and there isn't a thing you can do to stop me.
May you live out your life in happiness, my love. You are free to go where you wish.
The fairy minister who allowed Jul to keep Lort. He seems bound on finding a way to undo this decision.
(Directed disapprovingly at Lort) Ah, this time the thing managed to be dressed properly.
You know as well as the rest of us that a mage keeping a Troll as a… Pet is a cause for concern in the magical world.
You’ll regret this, Mage. Don’t forget humans were only recently given power.
A snobby fairy assistant to the fairy minister Glitterwhisk. Frizzythistle is very pompous and self righteous. She believes she can do no wrong.
(Annoyed) Listen, Juliet! You will only get a warning, this time, because this was the first instance.
(Disgusted) The townsfolk informed me that there was a weapon being built atop this cliff, but to think that a mage would be building a machine of war with her troll!
I need an artist who can create the scenes I have in mind. It doesn't have to be animated. I just need the scenarios with the characters as a visual of what's going on.
