Venture Joe!

Here comes an original story straight from the greatest mind on earth! Looking for more than 1 comic artist to help me out! here's the story. 

In 1996, Dr.Edwin James discovered a metal that hit the earth many years before civilization! It’s called Venturillium! Ventrurillium is a multi-colored metal that has a unique energy system around it. For the next 20 years, Edwin James becomes passionate about finding the formula for its energy system! He works hard and does many different tests. The year is now 2016 and we go to Brookville, Illinois, and meet our protagonist Joe Johnson. Joe Johnson is an awkward 16-year-old boy. He lives with his Grandfather Papa Johnson who is a preacher and his older brother Rudy Johnson.

Joe is always feeling like he is living in the shadow of people. He has confidence issues and is always left out. He is in a 6 personal friend group with his love interest, Kennedy Williams, and long-time friend, Braelin Taylor. Although he is in a nice size group, he is sort of the butt of the group, more like a background friend. This is made evident on the night of homecoming! Joe watches his crush dance with the person who hates Joe the most, he has no one to dance with and feels all alone! To add insult to injury, Joe’s homecoming group ditches him at the dance! He now is forced to walk home from the dance.

At this time, Dr.Edwin James has finally prepared a chance of extracting the energy from the Venturillium at his lab. As he conducts his experiment, something goes very haywire and the Venturillium shatters into large pieces. The green piece happens to fly right into the chest of Joe Johnson. Johnson is seemingly dead. The metal pierced his heart but did something else, meld to his system. Dr.Edwin takes  Joe Johnson and treats him in his lab. The metal that killed Joe morphed into his body and brought him back to life. The metal gave him incredible durability to where he can withstand a building falling on him, reflexes so fast that he can catch bullets, strength to where he can lift 1 whole truck with ease.

 Although he becomes a super being, he loses some of his natural traits. All his hair falls out and the Ventrilium takes over as his body runs on a whole new nervous system. Upon waking up, Joe is confused. Dr.Edwin helps Joe recover in one night! The Ventrillium healed him up. Dr.Edwin feels bad about the accident and offers his number to Joe for further help with the Venturillium. Joe comes home after a long night and goes to school next Monday. Joe then fights his hated bully Laz thunder, who Joe beats to a bloody pulp. Joe gets suspended for almost three weeks and feels like his newfound power is a curse. He wants to seek help on how to get rid of the Ventrilium in his system so he turns to his brother Rudy. 

Rudy is a street thug, doing petty crimes to keep a dollar in his pocket. Rudy, however, is a family. He cares about Joe deeply and wants to help him out. Therefore, Rudy turns to the streets for aid. They then lead themselves to a gang known as the North Riders. The North Riders are the biggest gang in Brookville led by Bloodeye. Bloodeye is a half politician half gangster who helps lead the city of Brookville. He is a godfather version of kingpin but black(lol). Rudy and Joe approach Bloodeye with a deal to have 100k in 7 months and Bloodeye helps Joe recover back to normal. All seems well, until one of Bloodeye’s gang members IDs Rudy. Rudy is introduced to beating up said gang member because the hoodlum tried to steal from a kid. Bloodeye, feeling disrespected, kills Rudy in front of Joe. Joe then gets angry and uses his power for revenge against Bloodeye. He goes searching and searching until he reaches the south side of Brookville! He then engages with a gang called the “South Side Killaz” where he meets Tyrone. Tyrone is the head gang member of the SSK. His main goal is to kill Bloodeye and take over as head gang leader of  Brookville! Joe, filled with rage and anger, comes to Tyrone in order to seek justice for his brother Rudy. Tyrone needs to know if Joe is really down for this kind of activity, therefore, Joe robs the Italian mafia. Tyrone is then convinced and eventually, Tyrone teaches the way of gangs and underground crime to Joe. After a week of preparation, Tyrone and Joe set out to kill Bloodeye. Before they do, Joe and Papa Johnson have a conversation about love and trust that pushes Joe to change his mind about killing someone. Onward with the plan, Joe and Tyrone hurl through Bloodeye’s head trap house. Bloodeye has been beaten but Joe hesitates to make the kill because the words of his grandfather become louder in that moment. Tyrone on the other hand wastes no time and kills  Bloodeye. Although Bloodeye is the one responsible for killing Rudy, Joe feels regret that he could have handled the situation in a different way. After the event, Joe wants to leave the gang but Tyrone refuses to let Joe go. 

When Tyrone was a kid, Tyrone watched his family die due to a deal his father made with Bloodeye. Tyrone’s father was unable to follow through with the deal and therefore Bloodeye and his gang slaughtered Tyrone’s family and extended family who lived on the southside of Brookville. As a leader of the gang now, he wants to rid anyone and anything related to Bloodeye. Bloodeye lived in the same neighborhood that some of Joe’s friends live in. Kennedy Williams' father, who is the mayor, has close connections  to Bloodeye as he was a former gangster himself. Kennedy Williams and Braelin Taylor are in danger.

With this cause, Joe realizes the true danger of gang violence. How someone who is unrelated to the sole cause of the conflict could be affected in a huge way. Joe then teams back up with Dr.Edwin James who faces his own problem. Tyrone sent some of his goons to steal a piece of Ventrillium. Tyrone then needed some after he saw what it did to Joe. Tyrone uses the ventrillium to restore and buff his arms after he lost them in  a previous fight to  Joe. Joe on the other hand comes back to Edwin James seeking help and advice. Edwin James doesn't hesitate to help because he feels like he owes Joe a favor after the night of the accident. The main problem with Joe is he cannot control the huge green energy burst the Ventrillium gives him. So they create a suit that harnesses the power of the metal! With a new suit, he becomes venture Joe and with help from Dr.Edwin James, can he stop Tyrone from committing mass genocide, or will he fall to gang violence.
