JJK DUB

Project Overview

This is a long term project where i am gathering a bunch of people to do a fun fandub of the entire Jujutsu Kaisen series. We will be doing the entire show and trying to get one episode done ever 1-2 weeks so it is very little for the Voice Actors to do. TO get a role you MUST have high quality microphone, and have an almost spot on impression of your character. LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL ACTORS FIRST.

  • Determined resolve – confident without sounding arrogant.

  • Emotional vulnerability – grief, guilt, and fear should feel raw and authentic.

SATORU GOJO - MAIN CHARACTER ROLE

Gojo has a charismatic, relaxed, and effortlessly confident voice. He carries himself with the ease of someone who knows he's the strongest, but his confidence should feel natural and playful rather than arrogant. The performance should comfortably shift between:

  • Playful charm – witty, energetic, and naturally humorous.

  • Casual confidence – calm and self-assured without sounding boastful.

  • Protective sincerity – genuinely caring when speaking to students and allies.

  • Overwhelming authority – when the situation turns serious, his voice should become focused, commanding, and impossible to ignore.

Gojo isn't loud for the sake of being loud. His personality fills the room through charisma, timing, and confidence. His humor should feel effortless, while his serious moments should instantly convey why everyone respects and fears him.

Voice qualities:

MAHITO - MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE

Mahito has a youthful, playful voice with a naturally relaxed tone, but beneath it is an unsettling sense of confidence. He rarely sounds like he's trying too hard—his calmness is what makes him intimidating.

The performance should effortlessly shift between:

  • Childlike curiosity – amused, fascinated, almost innocent.

  • Playful sarcasm – teasing others as if everything is a game.

  • Cold cruelty – emotionally detached while committing horrific acts.

  • Explosive rage – when cornered or humiliated, his composure completely breaks into frantic, unhinged screaming.

His laughter is genuine and frequent. He enjoys what he does, and that enjoyment should come through naturally rather than sounding forced or "evil."

Avoid making him sound like a deep-voiced demon or stereotypical villain. He's expressive, energetic, unpredictable, and charismatic. The creepiness comes from how casually he treats violence, not from an artificially dark voice.

TOGE INUMAKI - MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE

Inumaki has a calm, gentle, and reserved voice. Although his spoken vocabulary is limited to rice ball ingredients for the vast majority of his dialogue, his emotions should still come across clearly through tone, pacing, and subtle vocal expression. Every line should communicate intent even when the words themselves remain the same.

The performance should comfortably shift between:

  • Quiet friendliness – kind, approachable, and supportive.

  • Playful reactions – lighthearted responses with subtle humor and personality.

  • Protective concern – reassuring and compassionate toward his teammates.

  • Focused intensity – calm, controlled authority when using Cursed Speech.

Inumaki is naturally soft-spoken and considerate because he constantly has to be mindful of the danger his voice poses to others. He communicates more through emotion than through words, making vocal nuance incredibly important.

Voice qualities:

  • Male, late teens sounding

  • Medium to medium-high pitch

  • Soft, smooth, conversational tone

  • Strong emotional expression despite limited dialogue

  • Excellent control over subtle vocal inflection

  • You basically know at this point...What my technique can do, right? Although i still have trouble creating anything too large or complicated. I'm wounded from where he cut me too. So after i create this, i'll die... *casually* Later. *walking off* Good luck on your own after this. I've known for a long time now why twins are considered to be such an unfortunate accident by Jujutsu society...You have to offer up something in order to gain anything. This goes beyond just pacts. The fact that we go through pain to grow stronger follows the same logic. But that balance never functions properly...in the case of twins like us...Because jujutsu views identical twins as the same individual...Do you understand? You are me...And i am you...You can long to grow stronger and work so hard you spit up blood. It's all pointless. Because i dont wanna grow stronger at all...Even if you dont have any techniques...Its pointless if i have one. So long as i exist, Maki...You will always be incomplete. This is all i'll leave you with...Cast off the rest. I'll take all the cursed energy, and everything else with me too. Just promise me. One thing...Please, destroy it all...*child voice* All of it, ya hear? Big sister?
