Jim Robbie and the Wanderers Needs Children's Voices
Project Overview
Jim Robbie and the Wanderers is a bi-monthly radio drama podcast.
Tango and Charlie are two female musicians traveling a surreal post-apocalyptic America with their robot companion Jim Robbie, entertaining and sticking their noses where they don’t belong. The United States that the Wanderers inhabit is full of all sorts of strange and wonderful surprises, from zombies, cactus people, underwater kingdoms to vampires, messed up physics and mad scientists.

We will be getting back to you in the next two weeks if we would like you to voice for us. Thank you.
We need children, lots of children. The caveat is that we cannot have child actors (under 18), so we’re looking for wonderful people to audition who can do children’s voices. Do you think that you have a good child’s voice? Audition.
Here’s what we’re going to need from you:
- At the beginning of the recording state your name and age.
- Record yourself reading a children’s book.
- The kind of voice we are looking for is between the ages of 6 and 14. We’re are not looking for toddlers or extremely exaggerated voices.
- First 30 seconds is fine for length, no need to read the whole book.
