Athena has always had a strong dislike for men. Mainly because her dad walked out on her and her mother. When she was in her Sophomore year, her mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She makes a daily visit to her mom even if it hurts her that her mom doesn’t recognize her. Athena is rather abrupt and very honest that it causes her to be hard to approach. She is rumored in her University to have a “Man-Phobia” although it was overly exaggerated. The truth it being she just never wants to rely on any male even if it meant for her being alone. Her life was revolved around her mother until Evan enters her life…

Evan is a young and inspiring artist. He is rather weak with being honest and saying no, which caused him to be easily rumored as an infamous Playboy in the University. He is actually very uninterested in being attached to others which causes him to hurt many girls. He was misunderstood by a friend of his when he said “I need a girl for my new painting”. That said, girls assumed he was frivolous and experienced in romance. In all honesty, Evan is just focused on his art. He was again trying his best to turn a girl down when he met Athena. His first impression of her peaked his interest. He then asks her to be his inspiration for his painting…

In the beginning, she appears to be one of the only friends Athena has. She is rather forceful and usually bugs Athena to attending meet-ups with guys. She is very cared about by Orina Parks. Although, Chyrne is actually a very hostile person. If someone she likes is taken away, she’ll do whatever she can to get it. She is very heartless and doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She only befriends Athena to hide behind her mature nature. She used the chance to hide her true personality that she only shows when she is alone. Chyrne has a huge crush on Evan which leads to her aggressive nature towards Athena.

Lui is a smart student, and usually found studying or by himself just staring at the sky. He hardly speaks to anyone but the antagonist Chyrne. He knows how she really is since they grew up with each other but still likes her anyways. He notices the hostility Chyrne has been giving off lately to having to get himself involved with others to stop her from hurting anyone.

She cares about Chyrne as a sister, and has a strong dislike for Athena. Although, it’s more of her just trying to push Athena forward by being harsh. She later becomes a strong support for Athena while she struggles with having to balance Chy’s hatred for Atty. She like Athena is rather blunt and has a hard way of choosing her words nicely, although unlike Athena she can make friends easily.

She is Evan’s older sister. She is a doctor in training at the hospital Athena’s mom lives at. She loves teasing her brother and cares about Athena.

Tyler is quirky and outgoing. He is best friends with Evan and misunderstood Evan for wanting to date. He had no ill intent but he is single minded so he often misunderstands people. He usually keeps situations from getting bad and tries to be the person to avoid drama.
