Bring it in! Foghorns, on three! One, two, three! FOGHORNS!!!
(Sarcastic) oh, I love Get Up and Glow
(Anxiously) Come on, Riley. Get it together.
She is the yellow Emotion and the main Emotion out of the five that live inside the mind of Riley Andersen with the others being Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. She appears to be happy all the time and full of energy.

(Confused) Orange? Who made the console orange?
(Stressed/mad) Delusional? OF COURSE I’M DELUSIONAL!! Do you know how hard it is to stay positive all the time when all you folks do is complain, complain, complain! Jiminy mother-lovin’ toaster-strudel!
(Narration) Sometimes, she can be too hard on herself, but every bit of Riley makes her who she is. And we love all of our girl. Every messy, beautiful piece of her.
Anger feels very passionately about making sure things are fair for Riley. He has a fiery spirit and tends to explode (literally) when things don't go as planned. He is quick to overreact and has little patience for life's imperfections.

I barely touched it. Those morons broke the console.
And if Joy can’t see that well, then she’s delusional!
Oh, no! IT'S A BRAINSTORM!!!
highly opinionated, extremely honest and prevents Riley from getting poisoned — both physically and socially.

Oh. Here's one where she waved at a guy who was actually waving at a girl behind her.
You want me to crawl through a tube, in this? Yeah, not happening.
Joy, this is useless. Real Riley is out there somewhere and we’re never going to find her.
She is the blue Emotion and one of the five Emotions inside the mind of Riley, along with Joy, Fear, Anger, and Disgust.

(Sad) Oh! We got a penalty…! [cries and face plants on the console, making the color blue.]
Joy, I can’t do it. I’m not strong like you are.
This isn’t who Riley is.
She's extremely nervous and anxious about many things, such as meeting preexisting emotions like Joy, especially because she wants to make a good first impression. Her main job is to protect Riley from things she "can't see" and plans for the future.

Oh my gosh. I am just such a huge fan of yours! And now, here I am meeting you, face to face. Okay. How can I help?… I can take notes, get coffee, manage your calendar, walk your dog, carry your things, watch you sleep.
Okay. So my team has run all the data and we’re looking at the following likely scenarios. First, we don’t take this camp seriously and we goof off with Bree and Grace. Riley looks really uncool in front of Val. She fails to impress the coach, does not become a Fire Hawk and finally arrives at high school. She has no one, she eats alone and only the teachers know her name.
Joy. I’m sorry. I was just trying to protect her. But you’re right. We don’t get to choose who Riley is.

[On-we] Ennui. It’s what you would call the boredom.
Pardon. Excuse moi. I’ve been waiting my whole life for this very moment.
(Surprised) oh La,La,La ...my phone?! Where is my phone?! Seriously?! This is not happening! No, no, no, no, no!!!
Embarrassment doesn't talk or make eye contact with the other emotions. He usually pulls his jacket strings to hide his face whenever he's flustered. His job is to let Riley know when the things she does are socially inappropriate and unacceptable.

(Supporting) And she’s got us! Whow. Yeah, right? Cause she's.. uh yeah maybe
Envy may be small, but she sure knows what she wants. She's perpetually jealous of everything everyone else has, and she's not afraid to pine over it. Envy's wishful thinking and fascination with the newest, coolest thing pulls her attention in all directions and longs for what Riley doesn't have.

Quick question: How do we build a new Riley, which I'm loving by the way. Amazing concept, if it took them thirteen years to build the old one?
(Worried) Anxiety, you’re putting too much pressure on her!
Val is kind and empathetic, qualities that clearly come through in her interactions for the other girls at camp, especially with Riley. Her patience and relaxed nature make her easy to get along with and a constant support figure for those around her.

Riley is from Michigan.
Okay, okay. Thanks. Listen, coach was pretty hard on you today. But it's not a bad thing. It means you're on her radar
Hey, Michigan. Oh, rockin' the red, huh?…. Yeah, yeah, that's fine. Did you um, sleep last night?
