The project is on a Sci-fi, Apocalyptic and horror Gacha series!
Now, I understand many people might not be familiar with Gacha but think of it as a form of media— like anime for example!
It's going to be Animated and voice acted! The form of animation is 2d, more specifically a puppet/tweening type.
The story follows 4 teenagers— Snow, Anthony, Yoshi and Vex trapped in a city, infested with these creatures known as "The infected". How will they survive? What really happened? How did these creatures come into being?
We don't need professionals— just individuals with the minimal skills and passion to make this story a reality.
The series will be posted on YouTube, it will contain around 13-15 episodes (around 5-10 minutes and maybe episodes like special ones or finale would be longer than that.)
The episodes won't follow a traditional pattern, there will be a prologue first and then First person POV episodes from the characters perspectives, focusing on the characters emotions and firs-hand experience. In between the POV episodes there'll be gap or Intermission episodes which will focus on world-building and lore.
(This is inspired by first person novels where each chapter is from the perspective of a character)
There'll be multiple endings, good, bad and neutral ones (inspired by games) each ending will have different developments for each character.

Making some 2d Gacha character models/PSD for animation, basically separating hair, clothes etc.
If aren't familiar with Gacha, I'll send all the references you may need so you don't have to download the apps or anything. You just need some skills on cutting, redrawing, adjusting characters. (But if you are experienced I can send you all the character codes!)
I already have a base model and an example model ready. (If you want I can definitely walk you through everything that needs to be separated on each character and completely teach you my art style through a recorded tutorial) You can choose whichever character you want to work.
Another thing, the character models need to be in 4 different perspectives— Front facing, 3/4 facing, Side facing and back facing. Let me know exactly which perspective you want to work on (you can work on multiple too but I don't want to overwork you as this is unpaid work
Lastly, it is preferred that you use Ibis paint X, although any app that can save and handle PSD files can work. But the tutorials that I'll be doing will be on Ibis paint X (so certain tips might be only specific to that app)

One of the protagonists. An individual who really cares for her family and friends and would do anything to ensure their safety. But also deep down, she's very.. very.. afraid for what's coming.
Female, teen. Has a calm voice that gets slightly shaky when she's anxious.

Animator
The project is on Gacha, so the animation style will be puppet/tweening animation, where the character parts are separated and then moved using keyframes.
The main animator is me, I'll be using Opentoonz which is an open source 2d animation software for PC. It's cool if you can use this too but you can use any you prefer as long as you can work around watermarks and can replicate my style and much as possible.
I'm a very very beginner animator myself, if you are an experienced one I'd love for you to teach me. But the burden of animating most of the scenes won't be on you. You'll basically judge my work, help with scenes and do a few of the "normal/mundane" scenes like blinking, lip syncing sometimes maybe walking. So if you have the skills and time then definitely consider applying!

Okay now, I know this is a little too much for an unpaid work. But I'd love if you can help with making a few 3d backgrounds in blender. I myself know nothing yet but I'll learn it and I just need you to help guide me and sometimes do a few parts. The characters are 2d but because we'll be using a lot of perspective things, I think using a 3d background will make everything feel more interactive.

There will be some backgrounds that don't need to be 3d and can just be 2d, here you basically need to illustrate the actual backgrounds designed by the designer. (It'll probably mostly outdoor scenes)

Design the backgrounds by drawing them, well explain the ideas to you and you gotta sketch it out for us.

We need a specific niche on creating creatures here. It might contain some gore. It also contains horror elements. The creature is technically a deformed & "enhanced" version of humans (that is the apocalypse)
You're gonna have to illustrate the creatures (basically a reference image) so our character model maker can separate it.
