INDIE SHOW! – If you're fan of Chiikawa, Bluey, miffy.. this is for you!
Project Overview
“Gloam’s Odd Afterlife” is a lighthearted, family-friendly indie animated series that follows the whimsical (and weird) adventures of undead critters living in a soft and sparkly version of the afterlife. It’s a cozy, chaotic world filled with talking ghost owls, magical polter-spiders, swamp goblins, and spirit snails — all loosely tied together by Gloam, a zombie koi-fish who keeps forgetting what they were doing.
This series is part of a passion-driven small business that sells handmade art, collectibles, and character-themed merch. The show itself is being developed as a fun, engaging way to expand the world of the shop and build a community around the characters — with potential for stickers, plushies, keychains, apparel, zines, and more!
The tone is a mix of Monster High x Molang, with a dash of Hazbin Hotel’s expressiveness — cute and silly, with emotional beats, magical creatures, and some spooky sparkle ✨💀

Voice Style: Gurgly, sleepy, bubbly, excited shy kid!
Voice Needed: YES – Gloam speaks in short sentences, slow-paced, and often forgets what they were saying mid-sentence. Their tone is chill, a little haunting, but oddly cute.
Role Description:
Gloam is the “main” mascot of our world — a zombie koi-fish who floats midair, dripping water everywhere and accidentally trailing seaweed. They're not scary, just... slow. Gloam is the type to start talking and then pause for 10 seconds. Despite their undead status, they're a sweet and curious creature who wants to help, even if they’re not quite sure how.
