#### **Scene 1: Tragic News**

**INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY**

*(The camera slowly zooms in on a 14-year-old boy, LIAM, sitting on the couch with his knees hugged to his chest. The room is dimly lit. The TV is on, but it's just background noise.)*

**LIAM'S PHONE RINGS.**  

*He picks it up. The screen shows "DAD."*

**LIAM**  

*(nervously)*  

"Hey, Dad..."

**DAD (V.O.)**  

*(voice cracking)*  

"Liam... I’m so sorry, but... your mum didn’t make it."

*(Liam drops the phone, his face a mixture of shock and disbelief. The camera pulls back as the sound of the TV fades out, leaving only the sound of Liam’s breathing, growing heavier and more panicked.)*

#### **Scene 2: School Struggles**

**EXT. SCHOOL COURTYARD - DAY**

*(Liam walks through the courtyard, his head down, eyes red from crying. He clutches his backpack strap tightly. Students whisper and stare as he passes by.)*

**BULLY 1**  

*(loudly, mocking)*  

"Hey, look! It's the gay kid. Bet he cried like a baby when his mum kicked the bucket."

**BULLY 2**  

*(laughs, joining in)*  

"Yeah, maybe now he can cry on his boyfriend's shoulder!"

*(Liam freezes, tears welling up in his eyes. He tries to walk away, but the bullies block his path.)*

**LIAM**  

*(whispers)*  

"Just leave me alone."

**BULLY 1**  

"What’s wrong? Gonna cry some more?"

*(Suddenly, another boy, JASON, steps in front of Liam. He's 15, tall, and confident, with a protective aura.)*

**JASON**  

*(sternly)*  

"Back off. Now."

**BULLY 2**  

"Oh look, here comes the hero boyfriend!"

**JASON**  

*(stepping closer, intimidating)*  

"Yeah, and I’ll be more than that if you don’t leave him alone."

*(The bullies exchange glances, sensing Jason’s seriousness, and reluctantly back off.)*

**BULLY 1**  

"Whatever, man. He’s not worth it."

*(The bullies walk away, muttering under their breath.)*

**JASON**  

*(turning to Liam, softening)*  

"You okay?"

**LIAM**  

*(nodding, wiping his eyes)*  

"Thanks, Jason... I don’t know what I’d do without you."

**JASON**  

*(smiling warmly)*  

"You won’t ever have to find out. I’ve got your back, always."

*(They walk together, Jason’s arm around Liam, giving him the support he needs.)*

#### **Scene 3: Healing Together**

**INT. LIAM'S BEDROOM - NIGHT**

*(Liam sits on his bed, staring at a photo of his mum. Tears start to fall, but he doesn’t stop them this time. Jason knocks gently and enters.)*

**JASON**  

*(softly)*  

"Hey... mind if I sit with you?"

**LIAM**  

*(without looking up, voice shaking)*  

"I miss her so much, Jason."

*(Jason sits next to him, placing a comforting arm around Liam's shoulders.)*

**JASON**  

"I know, Liam. And it's okay to feel like this. You don’t have to go through it alone."

*(Liam leans into Jason, finally allowing himself to cry openly. Jason holds him close, his presence a steady comfort.)*

**LIAM**  

*(through sobs)*  

"Why does everyone hate me? Just because I’m... different."

**JASON**  

*(gently lifting Liam’s chin to look him in the eyes)*  

"Not everyone, Liam. I don’t hate you. I love you for exactly who you are."

*(Liam looks into Jason’s eyes, seeing the sincerity and care. A small, hopeful smile begins to form on his face.)*

**LIAM**  

"Thank you... for everything."

**JASON**  

*(smiling back)*  

"Always."

*(They sit in silence, but it’s a comfortable, healing silence, as Liam begins to feel the weight of his grief lift, just a little, with Jason by his side.)*

#### **Scene 4: A New Day**

**EXT. SCHOOL COURTYARD - DAY**

*(Liam and Jason walk into school together, hand in hand. The students glance at them, but the whispers have faded. Liam walks taller now, with Jason by his side.)*

**BULLY 1**  

*(watching from afar, scoffing)*  

"Look at them. They think they’re so tough."

**BULLY 2**  

*(shrugging, losing interest)*  

"Forget it, man. Let’s go."

*(The bullies walk away, leaving Liam and Jason unbothered. As they pass by, a few students smile at them, offering silent support.)*

**JASON**  

*(grinning at Liam)*  

"See? Things are getting better."

**LIAM**  

*(smiling, more confident now)*  

"Yeah... they are."

*(They walk into the school together, stronger and closer than ever.)*
