Description:
Welcome to I Am Psychic, an action-packed, supernatural, and comedic animated series about two teenage boys, Troy and Jasper, navigating a chaotic world under the mentorship of a local deadbeat mechanic, Brian. This show is full of zany adventures, bizarre creatures, and heartwarming relationships as our heroes try to unlock their hidden psychic potential.

Characters Needing Voice Actors:

1. Troy (Main Character)

   • Description: A determined and slightly cynical teenager who questions the crazy world around him. Troy is the "straight man" to Jasper's antics, but deep down, he has a big heart.

   • Voice Type: Medium or medium-low, grounded but with emotional range.

   • Example Line: “This is insane! We’re supposed to be learning psychic powers, not fighting mutant spiders!”

2. Jasper (Main Character)

   • Description: Troy’s energetic and impulsive best friend, always ready to jump headfirst into danger without thinking things through. Jasper is the comic relief, but he shows surprising bravery when needed.

   • Voice Type: Medium or medium-high, excitable and full of personality.

   • Example Line: “Come on, Troy! If we don’t fight those spiders, who will? Brian? Yeah, right!”

3. Brian (Mentor)

   • Description: A lazy, sarcastic mechanic who reluctantly trains Troy and Jasper. Despite his gruff demeanor, he has a mysterious past and secretly cares about the boys.

   • Voice Type: Low and raspy, laid-back but capable of intensity when needed.

   • Example Line: “Kid, I told you not to touch that. Now look what you’ve done—half the garage is on fire!”

4. Brian’s Granddad (Justin)

   • Description: A calm and reserved yet fun-loving granddad who’s wise beyond his years. He owns a local library and offers guidance to the boys when Brian’s antics go too far.

   • Voice Type: Warm and kind, with a mature tone.

   • Example Line: “The world is a strange place, boys. But it’s in the strangest places you’ll often find the answers you’re looking for.”

5. Customer (Background Character)

   • Description: A slightly impatient but harmless person who owns the car Brian is supposed to be fixing. This character adds a touch of comic relief in the background.

   • Voice Type: Open to interpretation, leaning toward comedic or slightly annoyed.

   • Example Line: “Uh, Brian? Are you actually going to fix my car, or should I take it somewhere else?”

6. Half-Man, Half-Spider Creatures (2 Creatures)

   • Description: Creepy, otherworldly beings with menacing voices. They serve as the first real test for Troy and Jasper in the pilot episode.

   • Voice Type: Deep and monstrous, with an unsettling tone. Think eerie whispers or guttural growls.

   • Example Line: “You can’t run, little humans. You’re already caught in our web!”

Requirements:

• High-quality audio with minimal background noise.

• Ability to deliver lines with strong emotional engagement.

• Open to feedback and willing to revise lines if needed.
