Project Overview
Horimiya is my favorite manga! I thought it would be awesome to do a fandub of it.
Basically, the job would entail reading the character's lines from the manga.
I only have a few requirements:
1. Have a good microphone.
I cannot stress this enough.
2. Be polite to others.
3. Have a Discord.
If you get the role, this will be my main way of communication.
4. Be committed.

Yanagi Akane is a 3rd year at Katagiri High School, and a member of Hori and Miyamura's regular group of friends.
Akane is gentle and mild mannered. He never wants to rub anyone the wrong way. However, due to his rather reserved personality, he is sometimes seen as being unpersonable, and therefore wants to be closer to everyone. He also speaks in a very polite manner to the other characters, furthering this appearance of being distant. But beneath all of that, he wants to be friends with everyone, and goes to great lengths to try being on good terms with them.
He is very bad with mornings, and as he's still waking up and half-asleep, his personality is the complete opposite. He becomes extremely rude and violent - so much that other characters jokingly wonder if he has a split personality.
I see... I'll be waiting for your answer...

Miyamura Izumi is one of the two main protagonists of the series. He's a generally soft-spoken character, and very kind. Izumi has a laid back attitude, but low self-esteem.

Being a child, he can be very direct and is not embarassed to bring up topics that Hori can't mention. He is also surprisingly perceptive,
Yuna calls him a crybaby, as he tends to cry easily over little things.

Ishikawa Toru is a supporting character in the series.
He is a close friend of Miyamura Izumi.
He has a very explosive temper and is commonly shown as "the normal one" out of all the characters, with his only odd characteristic being his dreams.

Lately I've been having a weird dream. I don't know how to express it. It's just.. there's a kitten in front of me all the time.

Yoshikawa Yuki is a close friend of Kyoko's, she attends the same high school. Yuki is a typical bubble head and very ditsy. Like Hori, she creates a fun and happy atmosphere. She is quite lazy and tends to sleep in class.

Sawada Honoka is of the side characters. She is very clingy towards Hori and often gets angry when Hori is together with Miyamura, choosing to push him away. She views Miyamura as a love rival, but also as some sort of brotherly figure. She was very close to her older brother who passed away some years ago. She also appears to have mild androphobia, often freezing up, running away or hiding when approached by men. However ever since she got to know Miyamura, she would hide behind him instead whenever a male approaches her.
Ah. Crap, he's looking over.

Iura Shu is a friend of Izumi Miyamura, and just about everyone in the cast.
Iura is loud and outgoing. He likes to play pranks on people, and tends to be the one starting the games or activities done by the group. Everyone in the group finds Iura to be annoying. He's like the human form of a green ball of energy.
But as Shu says, "if you take away my energeticness, what would be left..."
At home, he is completely different, acting very subdued and even cold towards his younger sister, Motoko. However, despite this cold attitude, he still loves his sister very much, and tries to help in in whatever way he can.
If you take away my entergeticness, what would be left...?

Kyouko Hori is one of the main protagonists, along with Miyamura Izumi, and is enrolled in Class 3-1 of Katagiri Senior High School with him.
Kyoko is normally a very energetic person. She is popular and always creates a happy atmosphere around herself. She is a very hardworking person and even with her chores around her house, she is a high scorer. When nervous or embarrassed she tends to switch to a violent state.

Ayasaki Remi is a member of the Student Council.
She is more of a mascot in the student council, and is shown to do little to no work at all.
Remi is usually shown as rather childish and immature, She has a very straightforward personality, and often wears her emotions on her sleeve. And seems to rely on other peoples help. She's also not very smart.

Sengoku Kakeru is the charismatic president of the student council. of the Katagiri Senior High School. He is also Kyoko's childhood friend.
Sengoku is very wimpy. The slightest thing will make him cower in fear, especially things to do with horror or insects. Sengoku is very smart and serious, normally ranked #1 in the school (and #2 in phys ed). He enjoys reading and has an incredible level of concentration while doing so, the point of ignoring everything else going around him.
He is generally not very expressive with his emotions. The sole exception is his anger or irritation, which he shows all the time.
He is rather shy, and gets embarrassed easily.
Oh god, please, hear my prayer... blow off my right arm in four days...
I know how you feel. She has a way of making you think it was all your fault.
