Hooded Quickies: All Ghoul's Eve (The Ghost and Molly McGee)
Project Overview
Hello, we've done many projects within Hooded Quickies from animations, humorous meme reactions, and most of all, comic dubs to help promote an amazing community of fans who show their passion for their fave franchises, and we love to help bring them to life as professionally as we can either via audio or also via animation sometimes.
One thing we are doing right now is a Molly McGee comic dub which will be multiple parts. We have a Scratch, but we need a Molly and Libby, someone who can capture the spirit of how Ashly Birch and Lara Jill Miller brings these delightful characters to life in The Ghost and Molly McGee on Disney Channel and Disney XD. We also need a Darryl, someone who can bring the attitude and youth Michaela Dietz brings to said character. Also, we need Grandma Nin who is wise yet quirky and Scratch loves her due to her food.
You will hear in the video we HAD a Molly McGee, but the actress had to drop out, and since this is a multipart project, we need to keep everything consistent between parts as we down the road plan to upload a full version with all parts in one video.
This is a non-pay project. It is done for experience and clout, so please only audition if you are willing to do that.
Also, we have a policy of not hiring anyone under the age of 18 as minors have been very untrustworthy for us in the past and we need those mature enough to commit and stick to their agreements. The ONLY exception is if the parents or guardians are there to be part of an agreement to performance.
We also require Discord for all who audition please. As for your auditions, please keep all lines in the same file, you are allowed three takes per line and we prefer three takes so I can hear different approaches.

We are also working heavily with Parasomnico so we can stick true to her vision and bring to life all the fantastic stuff she has done.
There are samples of each audition clip from the original show below. You are not required to be exact to the voice, but you must try to still be true to their character such as their energy and personality.
Molly will be cast early as she's needed the most. Everyone else will last longer.

Molly McGee is a bright and cheerful 13 year old girl who wants to make people happy. Her life is changed when she meets a grumpy ghost named Scratch who curses himself to be with her forever which he meant as a punishment for Molly, but Molly loved the idea of having a friend attached to her forever. While Scratch hated it at first, he grew to love Molly and her family and while still obnoxious and selfish at times, he has become very protective of her. While Molly loves to make people happy, she is not without her flaws as she is not the most empathetic and fails to realize other peoples' feelings now and then, she hates magicians and hisses at them for fake magic, and she is not a fan of maple syrup as she considers it the tears of trees. She also schemes a lot to make people friends or do more to make things better which can backfire at many times. However, despite that, she means well and she just wants to help those in need the best she can, which is something Scratch, her human best friend, Libby, and her family has come to understand of her.
She is originally voiced by Ashly Birch.

A shy, reserved, and curious girl. Libby is not the most social person, but she has a close friendship with Molly McGee, so much so that Scratch the Ghost later revealed himself to Libby to help Molly's mental health and not have to deal with keeping secrets from her. Libby has also formed a bond with Scratch over Molly's overbearing nature which while they both love Molly, don't deny her flaws either. Libby is also a conspiracy theorist and calls herself The Bloodhound of Truth. Overall, Libby is quite kind and compassionate despite her reserved natured.
She is originally voiced by Lara Jill Miller.

This has happened before... I just thought you were different... (depressed and sad)
NOTE: The accent for this is Thai. I didn't want to risk putting something not there and substituting it with something else to be offensive. It wasn't listed, so please be mindful. The closest for this is Lao as we read, so we will accept that as well if need be. I did notice her accent is rather light, so I'm willing to accept anyone who doesn't force anything too much. For a thicker and authentic example, you can listen to Mrs. Boonchuy on Amphibia.
Nin is a wise and calm women, and she has some unique knowledge about ghosts such as how to keep one happy which helped Scratch the Ghost feel more comfortable when the McGees moved into his home. She's has some estrangement issues with her daughter, Sharon (Molly's mom), but they have started recently been making amends and their relationship has improved. Nin is one of the biggest reasons Scratch is happy to now be among the McGee family.
She is originally voiced by Sumalee Montano who also voices Molly's mom, Shanon McGee.

Darryl is a fun loving, troublemaking, yet well intentioned child. He ends up having a very close relationship with Scratch the Ghost due to them both loving trouble and recklessness. While it comes off that he may only care for himself, he does care for his fellow students and tries to help make sure they are happy and having fun, and he also deeply cares for his family.
He is originally voiced by Michaela Dietz.
NOTE: Due to the age and thus how the voice needs to sound like a small kid, only women are allowed to audition for this role for the most part.
Two exceptions, if a very high pitched male is auditioning, or if a child wants to audition, the rule in the main description must apply where the legal guardian is there to also agree to the role's acceptance as well.

For experience, we need someone who can compose a short song to lyrics written by Parasomnico to be sung by Molly McGee.

Parasomnico has said she is searching for a tune that is a mix of glam rock and spooky, creepy sounds. If anyone can help with that, it would it would really help capture the spirit of Molly McGee's musical style.
We can accept synth or real instruments, but to help with editing, synth may be better.
