Hilary's Heroes (Music)

This project is the music half of an indie pilot I've been working tirelessly towards bringing to life: Hilary's Heroes - an animated musical dramedy with anti-war and feminist themes, among others.

I intend to have three original songs in the pilot, one in each overall act. Names haven't been figured out, primarily because that's something I'd like to collaborate with songwriters on, but in terms of overall sound, I intend for the three songs to follow the same genres and general sound as the following:

• Song 1: Sergey Neiss' Today I'm Facing The World from Fallout Miami, a sort of upbeat, merry jazz tune that plays during the beginning of the pilot and accompanies both a silent film-style flashback and a transition into the present day.

• Song 2: Ready For This, from Hazbin Hotel. specifically the half of the song starting at the 1:25 mark. It's a sort of "rally the troops", theatrical Broadway sound that I'm after.

• Song 3: Man with the Hex, by The Atomic Fireballs, and especially Stayed Gone from Hazbin Hotel; something with a upbeat, Broadway-grade swing revival sound to it, which, similar to Song 2, would be another "rally the troops"-style scene, just with a different tone/vibe.

Each song is expected to be around two minutes each. Per advice that a musician friend I worked with on a previous project gave me, there are roles for both composers and lyricists, in the event that, for example, you only write lyrics but don't compose. If you do both (composing original music and writing lyrics for that music), however, feel free to apply for both roles and receive the pay and credit for both.

I'd be glad to answer any additional questions re: specifics of the pilot on a technical side, or questions about the plot, or anything else - you have but to ask.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A PayPal account (gotta pay you somehow, and I’m most experienced/comfortable with PayPal). In keeping tradition with the voice roles I've cast, I intend to do a "half up front, half upon delivery" payment method.

• Willingness to sign a contract/NDA, mainly to stipulate that any sensitive information shared about the project isn't leaked without my consent under any circumstances, but if there are any specific terms that would make you feel comfortable, those could be discussed and implemented.

• (Optional) Links/samples of your past work, preferably of a similar sound/quality to that which you're applying for.
