PLOT
After a leak of fake tweets arise, Roland Holliday, a now 21 year old spoiled and attractive child star, is forced via cancel culture into hiding from California’s attractive glamour to a small university in the midwest. Under the new name Chase and caught in an unlikely new gang, he finds himself intertwined in the middle of a scandal bigger than Roland’s story on TMZ could imagine.

Goes under the new identity of Chase after a leak of tweets spiral him into a full “cancel culture” mess. Arrogant, selfish, and spoiled, but whether it be his good looks or his dumb-boy naive charm, you can’t help but root for him. Amazing at getting what he wants. Messy and inept when it comes to organization due to a life spent without having to clean after himself. Overdramatic as hell.

(narration) Now if you talk to my father, he’ll tell you Ivy is both my step mom and his partner. Talk to me and Ivy is all my stepmom, aunt, grandma, therapist, exterminator, and whatever else Barbie put on her resume. She’s saved so many of my lives I’m honestly just praying she can save one more.
(confused) Hi. Sorry- it’s just that. *sigh* I’m supposed to meet some guy named Dylan out here by the fountain but I never got his- (realizing; recovering) I got her-her? Yes HER last name! *nervous laughter* Sorry?
(angry; upset) Wait wait wait- hold on. So you mean to tell me that your son getting obliterated off the internet is none of your concern? I watched a video of my Paper Magazine cover getting thrown off Pride Rock, Dad!

A film student cutting class to work on her current project of interviewing students around the school. Seems to have a chip on her shoulder and is almost immediate to outwardly dislike Roland. Street and people smart, knows almost everything about everyone on campus.

Let me guess, you heard my name and were expecting some peaked freshman who doesn’t wash his ass and tanks his savings on flights for girls to come see him. You can find that Dylan down the hall.
(embarrassed) My real name is Diyala Nasser which means “recently bloomed flower”. *small awkward laugh* Can you believe that? My asshole father thought it was in his place to name me after THE image of hormonal adolescence.(angry; sharp) Call me that and not only will I expose your little secret but I’ll...kick your ass.
(narration) It’s like astrological signs. The poor girl just happened to be named Georgina Sesserman on her birth certificate - she couldn’t help it. She was destined for bitchiness.

Student body vice president. Easily stressed out and very emotional. Fails at even the slightest chance of flirting, though chances hardly come due to him being one of the only out gay students at Southridge. When not passively picking up after his new messy and obviously privileged roommate Chase, you’ll find Oliver hard at work on campaign tactics and plans to make Deer Valley a safer, more open-minded place. Just in the most clumsy way possible. Any accent.

(addressing; nervous) G-Good afternoon students and faculty of Deer Valley. I am Oliver Welles, a-as you know and I know there’s been a lot of circumcision- UH I MEAN- circumSPECTION *small laugh* as to why I should be your future student body President.
Line 2: I apologize, what my brother meant to say was that um...your house is lovely! *small awkward laugh* (to Matteo under breath) You screw this dinner up for me and you’re gonna wish you won that goddamn conception race. (Back to cheerful) Anyways!
(passive aggressive; overly cheery) I’m sorry what? I’m having a hard time hearing what you said over the smell of your 3 day old taco bell all over my bed sheets.

A painter and lover of recreational activities. The girl likes to be high. Childhood friends with Kat and the Welles brothers; even then was the one everyone goes to for advice. Will use any sort of humor device to distract any awkwardness in the room, that’s just the kind of person she is. Works full time at the local bowling alley while studying at Deer Valley. She’s fine, everything’s fine! Any accent.

So I rolled out of bed, spent well over an hour making myself presentable, and came all the way to the east side of campus for you to tell me maybe it’d be nice to have a cozy night in? Awww!...yeah you both can choke I’m going out.
I swear to God, all these white people will leave their KIDS just to go sing Mr. Brightside at a local bar somewhere. Like MOVE. Y’all are too old to be crowding up a room full of students and I gotta pee!

The “Zack” or the “Zack and Cody” twin stereotype. Gets away with being somewhat openly known as the school drug dealer due to his father being the dean of the university and his twin brother being in office. Madly in love with Katrina despite the female attention he receives for being on the school’s basketball team. The harmless flirting doesn’t hurt either. Terrible at filtering his thoughts. Any accent.

(nervous) Look. I got a girlfriend... and I really like her. Like...the real kind. So I just- (blurting) I love my girlfriend! (too much) Yep. I’m telling you I love my girlfriend. Nice!
Speak for yourself. All I did sophomore year was warm every bench of the season and inflate basketballs. I read like 5 textbooks in morse code.
When God said (God voice) “let there be a gay identical twin brother” (normal) he wasn’t talking to me Kat, he was talking to you. He was talking to my girlfriend that just asked me to wear tights and willingly lip sync You’ve Got a Friend in Me on a Saturday morning.

New to school but not the friend group. Timid best friend of Karma and longtime girlfriend of Matteo since high school despite being a year behind. Although, that doesn’t stop her from outwardly crushing on his gay brother. Journalism major and Nancy Drew of the group. Girl next door SUN with a hidden bad bitch MOON. A tad naive at times but the complete opposite of stupid. Any accent.

(Narration) There’s only one way to describe my schedule. You know how those bravo women from Real Housewives will turn to the camera and say things like “life is a game and I make the rules” or “in a town full of bitches, I’m not afraid to bark”? Mine would probably just go “Katrina Sullivan: if it looks like I’m about to lose my shit - it’s because I am and need medical help”.
(to Oliver; joking) Just so we’re clear. I think at this point it's safe to say it’s no secret I’d leave your brother for you. *laugh* *awkward pause* like yesterday *awkward pause* Tire marks and everything. (too far) Yeah I’m just gonna go call Matty now.
(angry; upset) I cannot keep having this same conversation with you! But are you gonna suggest taking a break? No! (calming down) No...no we’re just going to have to figure out a way to make this and us and all of it work.

An adult (barely) baby. Awkwafina meets Angelica (Rugrats) but as the freshman roommate of Katrina, she’s more like a h*rny Donkey from Shrek. When she’s not scrolling on twitter, you’ll find Brooklyn working on her latest chapter of lesbian “icarly in 2019” fanfiction. You laugh but the girl has over 6,500 wattpad followers. Likes her music loud, likes other’s boundaries crossed.
