"Here Goes Mint!" is an indie toon/webcomic project of mine I've been working on for quite a while, while not quite e for everyone despite its very peppy visuals is still cute enough to make someone squeak.
THE PREMISE:
the series stars well, Mint!, she's a nerdy transgender girl who likes reading books and whose main goal in life is to become a singer!, she sings pretty poorly though, she must learn and improve while living her day to day, alongside the rest of the colorful cast, including her relatives, her girlfriend and her friends!.
What's the deal with this CCC?, since there's no pilot in active production...:
this is mostly to test the waters!, as I want to get done with the vas as soon as possible so I can start working on it more, not to mention that I'll be uploading comic dubs of the webcomic portion on its official channel while main episodes are being done, so I'd like the VAs to voice those too!
SUBMISSIONS:
after a submission gets accepted, you'll be joining a private server and receiving a special role just for you, allowing you to see the progress of everything! for security reasons only people with the roles will be able to see everything on the private server, just be patient until I give you one!
Currently, the personal discord is being reworked due to the main server quickly becoming more about our new external collaborators, TMA, and since their sense of humor can be a little overwhelming and can lead to less serious work half of the time, jd figured we split the two, sorry for the inconvenience!, I will however add any accepted role as friends and hold a group chat if needed for now though.
the main star of the show!, she's the nerdy bookworm type who is also into collecting action figures, video games and has a goal in her life of becoming a singer!, she's optimistic, very smart, and lovable..
think of her voice as cozy, soft and energetic at the same time! despite having a goal of singing in her life, she tends to sing rather poorly, her voice almost coming out as screechy and loud in nature when she tries doing so, she's learning her hardest though

*in a sarcastic tone* say..I could go for reading something right now...I'm REAALLYYY bored of this...*she sighs*
*singing poorly* la la..LAAAA... I think I got it- *she trips over the mic stand* o-oh I wasn't.. looking....guess I DON'T have it yet...
probably one of the more less...realistic characters, she's mint's tomboy girlfriend!, she's quite the showoff witch, often practicing magic and stuff to impress mint herself, she can be a little risque but she doesn't overdo it, she not only likes magic but also very old and outdated music, from like the 90s or so!, especially piano only tunes for the most part, also, I don't know if this really matters to you, but her hands and head float!, her legs are the only thing attached to her torso, that's some piece of trivia for you there :P
her voice is deep, yet quite laid back and chill.
whoops!, I almost forgot to use this ingredient... there we go!, I'm done with this potion!
*disappointed voice* oh come on!, mint I worked really hard on this one, you should give it a chance!...

Mint's disgruntled, annoyed mother. she doesn't do much, other than smoke, be a dirty unclean mess (her clothes are very dirty and she barely washes them), and watch her TV dramas, despite all of that mint is stuck still living with her, and she can't do much but just shrug it off.
her voice should reflect her grumpy/whatever attitude she has. she has to sound very uninterested and mildly annoyed.
eaugh.. what do you want?
*angry tone* GO. TO. SLEEP. MINT. I can't take you screaming at the middle of the night!.

a shy, weeby nerd with an odd, yet charismatic, lovable admiration for one of his fictional crushes!, he's best friends with Mint and often tends to write little stories of his own, mostly featuring his fictional crush, as he's a selfshipper, he does have an interest in drawing and overall is very much a creative type, oddly enough, he also happens to have an, overtly female appearance, having female features as well too. his fictional crush is this one peppy girl named ranko from an in-universe manga/anime series called "candy ranko-chan!",
his voice is very squeaky, having a heavy nerdy accent, like sometimes his sentences end with a bit of a "shhhh" to his last spoken words in a sentence, it's also high pitched just a tiny bit..
*excitedly gushing* I wish I could be there with ranko-chan!! she makes me so so happy I could just nap alongside her!!! gahhh *he mutters some more cute noises*
h-hello there!!, i-i hope we can be friends!!! I-i don't have alot of friends and the only thing keeping me company is my ranko pillow...
would you...h-hug me?....i-its fine if you don't want to because of my smell...
I can't just write all the material by myself you know?, try to help as such!, sometimes help with revisioning scripts or giving suggestions as to what to improve..
