Project Overview

Hello everyone! My name is Mulysa Dark! I am a Choice streamer on an audio livestreaming app called Spoon. I do a lot of livestream improv shows as certain characters from different animes, and my friends sometimes join in with the fun and voice as well! My fans and I ocassionally watch different animes together in my Discord server- one of which was Hellsing- and ever since, the demand for a Hellsing livestream series on my channel has been pretty high! Starting late April, fans will be able to interact with Alucard (voiced by Alastrid Brightward on Spoon) and Sir Integra (Myself/Mulysa Dark on Spoon) as if they were new recruits into the Hellsing Organization!

Since the series is just starting, we will only be casting Walter, Seras, and Father Anderson. Alucard will also be casted, but as a backup, since we already have a voice actor casted. Since this has also come up from fans interested in auditioning- the voices we are looking for should fall in line with the official series, not the abridged series! As examples, I've put a few small YouTube videos in the description for each character. These videos are not mine and should only be used as a guide to how the voice should sound, please do not use the lines from these videos to complete your audition!

Requirements
- MUST be 16+
- Must be able to work well in a group setting.
- Have some background knowledge of the character you're portraying. (If not and you're casted, don't be afraid to ask about the character!)
- MUST have Discord. We do streams through Discord calls.
- MUST be alright with improvisation and livestreaming.


Examples
Since this livestream is just starting, there are no current examples available for the Hellsing series. If we decide to cast more characters in the future, this should be here next time!

Additional Notes
If you are finding this casting call from my official Discord server for Spoon, please keep in mind you still have to send me an audio recording of the lines provided in this casting call, CCC account or otherwise. Please make sure if you haven't already that you are reading the updates to the project. We are still currently trying to find an Alucard and Seras, but all other roles have been casted. Please, if you're interested, feel free to audition! The new deadline is May 05th.

  • Premier Summary - Become Part of the Team!

    Hi, all! Though we still haven't casted a backup Alucard (or any of the backups for that matter), episode 1 of the "Hellsing Live" series premiered last Monday @10PM EST! Our current Alucard had problems with his XLR mic that we are currently working on getting fixed. He didn't have the right equipment, but aside from that, premier night went smoothly. All of us had a really fun time and a lot of you that said you'd be there turned up! This week is the release of Episode 2. We have opted to stream not only on Spoon, but Twitch as well. We have a lot of fans coming from Europe who can't access Spoon and I want to make sure that this event is inclusive of everyone! Keep in mind that if you'd like to watch, Hellsing Live airs every Monday @10PM EST. For those of you who didn't get the role that you wanted, but still want to be actively involved, I invite you to join me in helping to produce the series! It's hard work- we are avidly researching not only the lore from the show Hellsing, but some other things as well that will help us paint a better picture of the series. Whether you're an avid fan of Hellsing, or you're a good writer and want to be involved- the door is open, and my Discord is available.   • Seras Victoria casting up again!

    Hey guys! I've got good news and bad news. Bad news first- our Seras for the project has not gotten back to me yet with their Discord and has made no effort to try and contact me. Since I wanted to hopefully start the series on May 10th, and me and the rest of the team are running out of time for casting, here's the good news. Seras is back on the table! Please feel free to send in more auditions for Seras! This will be the official voice actress for the series; keep in mind all the guidelines from when we initially started the project still stand. And if you guys know anyone who may be interested, let them know about this project and send them a link! In addition, here are some pointers for people sending in auditions: - Seras has a higher, lighter voice. - Seras is also British! A lot of people (here and on BTVA) have sent in auditions where Seras is speaking with a North American accent. - MAKE SURE YOU'RE BASING YOUR VOICE OFF THE VIDEO LEFT IN HER DESCRIPTION! We're trying to find someone who can do a fairly good impression. Since this is an AUDIO livestreaming app, we won't have any visuals to indicate when Seras is talking, and have to rely entirely on the voice! The deadline for these voices is MAY 5TH. Anything afterwards will not be counted, unless we end up shifting the deadline back a third time. Sorry to those of you for the inconvenience!   • Releasing Control Art Restriction: ...Alucard?

    Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! Here's some updates for you all regarding the project and how it's looking so far: At the moment, I am working with my team of writers to ensure we have everything properly mapped out for the series. I have casted all of our voice actors (except Alucard- guys, keep reading!) this morning, so congratulations to those of you who got the part! If you have been casted and haven't done so already, please make sure to add me on Discord (it's in the project description) or check to see if you have a new friend request and accept it. For Alucard- I'm going to be honest when I say that our main actor has some big shoes to fill. I want to make sure that the voice is as accurate as it possibly can be; I also want to make sure that when you are on, everyone knows that you are portraying Alucard and filling in, not just playing a new character. That being said, I have picked a few people out of the Alucards out. I will continue to keep the auditions open for an extra week for Alucard, just in case you wanted to audition but couldn't because something came up or you forgot to do so. If you auditioned for a different character but would like to give Alucard a shot, I highly recommend doing so! For those who had a decent audition, but were lacking in only certain aspects- I will be adding you on Discord to communicate with you about the role. This does not, however, mean that you have been casted. If you are not interesting in working on the voice and gearing up for the series, you do not have to accept the friend request, or you can just tell me you are not interested anymore. Finally, for those of you who have been casted or contacted- You will be added to a group chat on Discord today where we will all sit together and have a meeting. I'm hoping to get this done and out of the way around 1 or 2PM EST; if you find that you can't attend, please let me know, but I'd like to go over my project materials and the series itself and make sure that everyone is still on board and caught up to speed on what we're doing!   • Last Day to Audition!

    Hello, everyone! I will be going live this morning at 10PM EST on Spoon to not only clear up some stuff about the Hellsing Live series, but to hang out with fans and possibly do an ambient live as Integra! Alucard is one of the main characters in not only the anime and manga, but our livestream series as well! He is a gun-slinging vampire working under his master, Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing for the Hellsing Organization. He despises newer vampires that have thrown away the class that old school vampires possess and he helps the organization to get rid of some of the toughest creatures- or people- they face that stand between them and a peaceful life in England.

This role is only a backup role at the moment, so we will contact you should our official voice actor need to drop out for a livestream due to an emergency! The more readily available you are, the better, but definitely let us know!

Everyone's favorite vampire police girl, Seras is a big, bubbly addition to the main cast for Hellsing! Turned into a vampire by Alucard after a deadly encounter with an enemy vampire, Seras devotes her time to the Hellsing Organization. Throughout her time in the anime, she struggles to find and truly accept what she's become, not wanting to let go of the bit of humanity that she has left. Regardless of her inner demons, she's usually very cheerful and nice to people. But don't let her exterior fool you- mess with her, and you're a dead man!

Walter, also known as the "Angel of Death", is the butler of the Hellsing Estate and also does a lot of the work for the Hellsing Organization behind the scenes, including making the guns that Alucard and Seras use to kill other vampires. Even for his age, he's a very strong fighter. Most of the time when he comes to attack you, you can't even see him! Knowledge of Hellsing is most preferable for this role, since there are some things about him that I'd rather not put here just in case!

Father Alexander Anderson is a catholic priest and a member of the Iscariot Organization, a group that is known throughout Hellsing Ultimate to antagonize Integra, Seras, Alucard, Walter, and the other members of the Hellsing Organization. Alexander fights for God and consistently makes it clear that he wishes to rid the world of Alucard, trying time after time to fight and kill him.
