Project Overview

POST DEADLINE EDIT : We'd like to thank everyone for their wonderful auditions! We'll be going through them all in the next two weeks and should be making our decisions by the end of the month.


HeartCapture!! Chorus Battle is a group cover competition themed around Otome Games. The competition has it's own story line, which is similar to that of a Japanese otome game / Visual Novel.


We are currently looking for VAs to voice our seven romance-able characters, as well as various other minor roles.


All characters are high school students aged 16 - 17 with the exception of the Teacher and possibly the Theatre Director.

NOTES

  • Feel free to audition for any character, regardless of gender. We're open to all interpretations!
  • Total video count will be ~5 to introduce each round theme and results
  • Character art on the auditions is not final

  • Casting

    Hello there everyone! Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your patience! I know it's been a while since the project closed and there's been little to no noise on our end. That does lead me to our next point! We spent our time in radio silence listening to all of your wonderful auditions and finalizing our cast! So, with the exception of three characters, our cast has been chosen and contacted. I'd like to thank you once again for your interest and hope to see you all in projects in the future! Also be sure to keep an eye out as our team tries to decide what to do about our missing characters! Thank you for your time!

A bright and sporty girl. Emi is the captain of the volleyball team, a member of the track team, and a member of the cheer squad. She has tried her hand at many other sports { such as gymnastics, tennis, skating, etc. ) and is generally good at them all. Her friendly nature and skill in seemingly all areas has led to her being one of the most popular girls in the entire school.

  • Nice to meetcha! I’m Emi Natsukawa, captain of the girl’s volleyball team! Atsu-tan and I used to be in the same class, but we got split up this year.

Kei, the infamous 'Ice Queen' of the school, is a blunt and strait-laced girl. She rarely shows her emotions and often speaks her mind without a second thought. Her intelligence is unrivaled among her peers and her streak of perfect scores since middle school is a new record for this school. This academic excellence earned her a spot on the student council from Year 1.

Kaoru is a gifted actor with a gentle disposition. They treat everyone with genuine kindness and are almost never seen alone. Often times Kaoru's physically affectionate tendencies are mistaken as them being flirtatious, but there isn't any hidden meaning to them. With such a charming personality and good looks, it's no wonder so many of them have fallen for them even though they just transferred to the school this year


  • Hey... look at me, it’s okay. There we go. It’s okay, just focus on me and try again. It’s just practice, remember?

A shy and somewhat plain boy, Itsuki is a member of the gardening club ( though he generally pretends not to be ) and is in the MC's class. Aside from plants, he also likes art and manga. He has a cactus named Saku.

A hard-working and smart boy. Yuuto isn't part of any clubs and instead spends his time after school studying at home, working at his part-time job, or helping out as part of his librarian duties. He is on the student council and one of the smartest people in his year.

TROPE : The Delinquent

Low pitch

Tall and intimidating, Ryou is the ringleader of the delinquent group. He has a sharp tongue and won't hesitate to fight anyone who poses a threat. He tends to regard most people as 'annoying' or 'extras' unless proven otherwise, so he has few close friends among the student body. However, his underlings seem to greatly admire him and defend his honor at all costs.

  • (neutral) Sorry. You reminded me of a cat, so… forget it.

Mid pitch

A laid back but kind boy who befriends the main character with his friend, Ru. Nahito does not belong to any particular club, but often helps Ru with her interviews for the newspaper club and assists in cleaning up after volleyball practice. He is childhood friends with Ru Kaguya and they remain close friends. Nahito is sometimes referred to as the 'Ru-sitter' as he can often be seen helping her with daily tasks or keeping her from jumping to conclusions. Contrary to popular belief, they are not dating.
