Harry Potter TAS Casting Call # 2
Project Overview
I've decided to upload the second batch of auditions now, just so that there are more characters to try out for. There are some characters in the first casting call I'm still looking for, so please also go there as you see fit. This casting call will focus on the Weasley family.
For those who didn't see the first casting call, Harry Potter: The Abridged Series is a satire of the Harry Potter films created with Microsoft Powerpoint. I have already completed all eight installments, and I wish to put them up on YouTube (non-profit). I'd like to add voices to accompany the characters' speech balloons. All I recommend is a high-quality recording, and a semi-believable European accent (unless you possess a real one, in which case, go right ahead).
EDIT: I realize that I've delayed the deadline several times now. I've been busy working on the series among other things. Getting a series like this off the ground is a long process, and I am thankful for everyone who has auditioned.

Molly Weasley's characterization in this series is not a large departure from the movies. She's still a sweet, caring mother who will go to great lengths to ensure her childrens' safety. I'm looking for someone who can pull off a cockney accent similar to that of Julie Walters.
Sorcerer's Stone: (Welcomingly) Oh, of course dear. Ron here is about to go for the first time too.
Order of the Phoenix: (strictly) Now, boys! You may end up getting your father fired if you try anything funny.
Chamber of Secrets: (angrily) HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO GET TO SLEEP WHEN THREE OF MY BOYS ARE GONE WITH THE CAR?
Installments: All except for Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince
Percy, like in the movies, is an uptight stickler for the rules. He's always looking for ways to make more of a name for himself. Percy is old enough that his voice is already matured at the start of the series. However, once he's hired by the ministry, he becomes deliriously happy for almost the entire remainder of the series, and his voice should be more high-pitched.
Sorcerer's Stone: (somewhat proudly) Welcome to Gryffindor, Harry! I’m Percy Weasley, one of Gryffindor’s prefects.
Prisoner of Azakban: (pompously) I, Percy Weasley, Head Boy of Gryffindor, shall resolve this crisis and put Sirius Black in his place!
Goblet of Fire: (overly excited) Yeah, the Ministry is awesome! Nothing will ever change it!
Installments: All
Ginny is very similar to her movie counterpart in this series. She starts out with a crush on Harry, and is fairly shy around him. However, she becomes very outspoken later on whenever something is going against her favor. Ginny's voice, like the other child characters, should mature as the series progresses.
Chamber of Secrets (young voice): (enamored) Sorry. I just can’t stop thinking about Lockhart. He slipped a free journal into my back pocket while I wasn’t looking. He is so sweet.
Order of the Phoenix (medium-ranged voice): (angrily) I am a teenage girl being forced to accept that the boy I like is dating another girl. I do NOT want anyone to add insult to injury!
Deathly Hallows part 1 (matured voice): (supportively) Harry, I wish you the best of luck on your journey. I know that you will succeed.
Installments: All except Sorcerer's Stone
Arthur Weasley is the upbeat supportive father of the family. He is generally cheery, except when Lucius Malfoy is involved. He doesn't appear in Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone abridged, but I felt like I should cast him here anyways.
Chamber of Secrets: You must be Harry Potter. I heard about your flight here, boys. Excellent work!
Chamber of Secrets: (Angrily) Do you want to run that by me again, Malfoy?
Goblet of Fire: Well, let’s not waste any time. Grab the portkey, everybody!
Installments: All
Fred & George are just as much comic relief in this series as they are in the original. They keep their sly and witty personalities, and in this version, their capitalism is played up. I'm ideally looking for the same actor for the both of them. Their voices should be generally bright and positive. Anyone trying out for them should be able to work of what the other one says, as they are usually adding on to each other.
Sorcerer's Stone (medium-ranged voice):
George: (slightly offended) He's not Fred! I am!
Fred: Honestly, woman. You call yourself our mother?
Prisoner of Azakban (matured voice):
Fred: (Apologetically) Okay, we admit it. That was pretty mean.
George: We owe you more respect for what you did to your aunt. That was wonderful!
Half-Blood Prince (matured voice):
Fred: Remember, kids! There isn't always shame in dropping out of school!
George: Not as long as you have a little magic!
