Batista provides balance to the team’s dynamics, mediating tensions between aggressive officers and ensuring investigations stay on track, he is Harrison’s superior in the chain of command, offering guidance while still expecting high standards and discipline.

Voice Direction: Deep, commanding, and authoritative. Doakes’s voice should radiate discipline and control, but still pack that trademark intensity. As a Lieutenant, he’s not just loud and explosive—he’s strategic, sharp, and capable of cutting someone down with either sheer volume or an icy, calculated tone.

About the Character: In this AU, Doakes survived and rose through the ranks to become a Lieutenant in Miami Metro. His suspicion of the Morgan family hasn’t gone away—in fact, it’s sharper than ever. Doakes is both a leader to his detectives and a relentless hunter of lies, making him a powerful force that constantly shadows Harrison’s path.
