Project Overview

Hello everyone! This is my very first project and I have decided to make it to find groups of people to help me make covers of HAMILTON: AN AMERICAN MUSICAL. It will be going up on my Youtube channel! (sorry I don't have a million subs but oh well. the link to my channel is in my profile. Go check it out :) )


You see, I, being the very enthusiastic human being, have been going around trying to find auditions but you know, many aren't genderbent so that means all the girls go for the only four/three roles.


I know how hard it is so..... I am back where I don't mind which gender you are! I think as long as we can show the emotion and all that we're good. Aaaaand in addition to that, like come on, a lot of us here are much younger than how old the characters are supposed to be so if you have a higher voice like me, don't worry! I'll take that into consideration. I might just make aaron burr, alexander, laurens and all those people teens then only like george washington adult or something I don't know.... I figure something out.


**Ignore the deadline guys. The project will end when all is casted.


Just a few things that would be nice if you guys could consider while recording.

1. You don't have to have an expensive mic, i don't. Just try to make it have as minimal background noise as possible. 


2.The program you use doesn't have to be amazing so don't go out of your way to buy or download something. Geez, even quicktime is good guys.


3.You need to be able to be contacted, preferably skype and email. At the very least, email. And please be able to keep deadlines.


4.BE NICE TO EVERYONE. No I'm better than you and all that. even minor characters will be important like when you're not singing solo you are still going to sing ensemble so.... yup.


5.You can sing on a different key, it's fine but still sing the right notes (or at least try your best)


6. Audition for as many as characters as you wish and don't forget HAVE FUN :)


I'm selfish alright. I'm very tempted to take Alexander's role but I won't completely get rid of him from the roles below so you can all still try out anyways. BUT just as a safe choice i would advise you to audition also for another role if you have auditioned for Alexander.

  • SECOND TO LAST UPDATE! ALEXANDER HAMILTON (UPDATE) AND CASTING FOR HERCULES MULLIGAN

    HERCULES MULLIGAN HAS BEEN CAST TO MENDIHOLA THanks you again every single one of you who auditioned. Even if you weren't casted I think all of you were so amazing! Alexander Hamilton He is still open, and I will leave it open till (my goal is July 18th). The project will start from now but it'll be a little slow because I'll be somewhere else next week. Which is why I'm leaving next week fully open to anyone who wants to audition. If you have already auditioned for Hamilton before but if you think that if you re-do it you might have a better shot, please, be my guest and re-audition. If till July 18th I do not find someone I personally think suitable (I think) I'll be playing him myself because we really do need to get on with this project while I'm still in summer vacation.   • SIXTH AUDITION RESULTS (nearly the last) - JAMES MADISON, CHARLES LEE, GEORGE EACKER

    Well it's finally summer vacation and I think we'll be starting this project very, very soon. Of course as you can tell 'Alexander Hamilton' is still open. Everyone is so amazing but so far I don't think I've had a 'yup, that's it' moment quite yet. So it'll be open till while we work on the first one. If I can't find the right one in the next two weeks(?) or so, I'll probably cast myself (attempt to stop sounding like a 5 year old) and get on with the project. (Those who are casted, please wait a little bit because I will contact all of you very soon) But anyways, thank you all so much for auditioning and today's result is actually one person. I mean that person auditioned for multiple characters and, as sad as it is to admit our cinnamon roll's importance, those three characters each don't have a million lines. So I thought, hey, they can do all three so why not? So.... congratulations...... MENDIHOLA!! you are now our official James Madison, Charles Lee, aaaaaand George Eacker. Just one thing before we get into the 'why you got casted' thing. Please... ;;; please chill a little on the 'i'm a general wheee' whiny sound... like... I think we'll manage haha;;;;; Aaaaaanyways, Whyyyyyyyyyyy is Mendihola casted? Well they are three characters now, as you can see. They need to sound different. (obviously) and though there is this vague sense that they are all done by the same person, Mendihola gives out.... a different feeling for each of them. For example, Lee. Yes, I did tell them to chill on the whiny sound but in a way, that gives it character. And when he did George Eacker, god damn it I wanted to punch them and also cast them immediately. I ended up only doing the second part because the first part... it's not their fault Philip's dead *cough* I'm not uh gonna cry *cough, sob* I'm sorry I'm still recovering from school (hahahha) I can't be bothered to write an extremely long update right now. (Ugh so much to plan) Anyways, congratultions and even if you didn't get casted, all of you are so amazing and talented! Then till next time when we really need to figure out who plays Hercules Mulligan and our man, Alexander. PEACE!

  • FIFTH AUDITION RESULTS - KING GEORGE III, PHILIP HAMILTON, PEGGY SCHUYLER

    WELL HELLLOOOOOOOOOO yeah I should probably be doing homework (jokes) Anyways, I know I've been gone for so long but I promise I have been constantly listening to aaaaalllllll of your auditions (round of applause for me please, thank you). So now that I'm back I have returned with three new members to this very lovely group. Before I go into the chosen lovely human beings, I want to say thank you to everyone who auditions for these parts as well as the 122 auditions you all sent in! Thank you thank you!! Now let's actually go on to the results. Cue drumroll please *drumroll* Our King George III will be... Rlw243!! Great job! I remember you putting a warning below that it was loud but you know what? That's much better than being quiet. Honestly. By the way, just a word of advice. I don't mind you being loud, you can be as loud as you want to but just maybe move you mic further away from you or move yourself away because if you're loud and close, your sound breaks or whatever the official word for it is. Anyways, did I mention you made me smile all the way through? Well you did. It was just.... I just went yes! that's it. Now... moving on to Philip Hamilton...... I'll be honest, I feel really guilty because I told someone if they could try out for Philip then I heard this other person's audition so.... this is the conclusion I came up with. The official Philip is Rhysred! You were exactly the voice I was waiting for! It was just so.... Philip. I can't describe it in any other way. But... what made me hesitate a little was the young Philip so... yeah. I mean yes you can most definitely work on it but.... If zoeduck? You have a younger voice so.... I don't know. I'll talk to you seperately Zoeduck and anyways, Rhysred, just know you're casted and that I think you're awesome :). Lastly... AND PEGGY! I remember asking so many people if they could try out for Peggy and gods I feel even guiltier than the Philip Hamilton one. Anyways our adorable Peggy will be....Cookiesaurus! I mean you just sounded like a Peggy. The adorable little sister. I would say that even though making the song lines yours is good, try to make the notes more clear or just stick to the original because there were moments where it sounded a little... off. But hey, YOU'RE THE PEGGY EVERYONE LOVES :) Thank you again everyone! And I welcome everyone who's now part of our cast!

  • This thingy is still alive!

    Hello it's been what, three weeks since out last audition notice? Sadly I am not back with a new one but please remember to keep sharing and auditioning! I am trying to listen to every new audition that comes up but it's just that I have finals and... yeah. I'll be back (heheheh) So... yeah. That's all. This thingy is still alive!!! P.S THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 110 AUDITIONSSSSSSS <3 you guys are awesome :)

  • FOURTH AUDITION RESULT - GEOOOOOORGE WASHINGTON!

    Yes I know, it's been like a day or two since my last audition result and I know I usually post at least two character casting results at once but I'm an impatient human being okay. This person should already know who they are but they actually auditioned for Alexander Hamilton and I'm not saying it was bad but from when I listened, they had this somewhat deep soothing voice I can't explain. If anyone, for some reason, has heard be rap, they will know my voice becomes even higher than ever, making me sound really young. This gets only worse when I'm 'on a roll' and... yeah. But anyways, I was listening to their audition and the first thought I had was I wanna hear them singing George Washington. I asked this person and they did upload their audition. After the first few seconds of listening to that audition, I think my mind was already made. They keep mentioning that they didn't think they were good but I feel like you had your own kind of slight twist to him, some parts can be a little tweaked because they were a bit quiet if it eas recorded with the karaoke. But anyways, it was honestly the voice I was looking for. The somewhat calm but not calm voice. I dunno. so congratulations FINN S on becoming our new GEORGE WASHINGTON!
