H.M.P. Trinity: Prologue
Project Overview
H.M.P. (Her Majesty’s Prison) Trinity is one of the most secure prisons to ever be constructed. Designed by the famous Olgard Brothers, it was designed to be both impenetrable and inescapable. Maze-like hallways, mile high walls, and hundreds of armed, ruthless guards make it the last place anyone wants to end up. Many have tried to escape, with each escape attempt leading only to tougher security... However, four inmates have managed to escape Trinity's walls. The prologue takes place 48 hours after this successful escape attempt, in an interview with the prison's warden, Jennifer Gaffgan.
To audition for this project, you need:
- A good quality microphone and recording space. Note that I'm not looking for perfect, professional quality (I understand that not everyone has access to that equipment, and it would be unfair to ask for high-grade equipment for an unpaid project), but it also shouldn't sound horrendous. In addition, do not do any editing to your audition yourself (noise reduction is fine). Record it as dry (without effects) as possible.
- A Discord account, or be able to make one if you are cast. Discord will be our main form of communication throughout the project's phases. Note that you don't need to be active in the discord; I only ask that you check it every so often for any updates or critique.
- The ability to record into and send WAV files. MP3 is fine for the audition, but if cast, you need to be able to record and send WAV. If you need assistance with this and you are cast, I will gladly help you!
If you are cast for this project, you will be given a copy of the script and be given up to two weeks from the time casting is complete and the project officially begins to record all necessary lines and submit them. If you can get it done faster, that is not only encouraged, but greatly appreciated. However, do not rush! Take your time and do things right to minimize redos. You are also encouraged to ask any and all questions you may have in the discord.
This project is unpaid. If things go well and the project comes out great, you will be among the first considered for when offering paid work becomes a reality for me. I know that my word alone does not mean much, but your efforts and assistance are greatly appreciated both during and after production.
If you wish to see some of my previous work, check the links below!
- Game of Hearts is a one-shot about two friends, Sabrina Larson and Vivienne Shields, who meet up three years after graduating college to catch up over a card game titled "Game of Hearts".
- Interrogations is a teaser for an upcoming project about the death of Scott Williams, a star college football player, that is invested by Blake Bauer, in a bizarre case where all four suspects are women.
- The Interview is a one-shot about a man, James Lombardi, who goes to a job interview for a job he found online. He knows little about this job other than where the interview is being held. His interviewer, a woman who refers to herself as "Applegate", seems normal... or is she?
- TimeScape Training Tape is a one-shot, semi-immersive experience in which you, the listener, are a new potential recruit for TimeScape, a company that has learned how to record, distribute, and market the memories of people.
- Cold Sauce is a one-shot about a businesswoman, Janice Lowe, who is a frequent user of Cold Sauce, a drug popular in the Rockford district of Serenade City. Janice meets with her dealer, Cypher, and learns that he's raised the price of his product.
- Nightcall Radio is a one-shot following Frank Aspen, a radio host who finds his normally routine shift disrupted by a crazed caller.
This project will be distributed through Anchor, which will further distribute it to a number of services such as Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, PocketCast, Breaker, and many more!

I will STILL be moving forward with the H.M.P. Trinity prologue! It's just the full project that is being delayed for now! I'll be casting for the prologue July 4th and will be extending the deadline until then!

The State of H.M.P. Trinity
Hello everyone. I would like to first apologize for my lack of communication as well as how long this casting call has been up without any action being taken. I want to stress that I am NOT abandoning this project! I've just had to take a step back and evaluate my process when it comes to creating. I've had to essentially "re-think" how I want to do what I do going forward. Having taken some time to reflect, as well as speak with those who are interested in what I do and want the best for me, I'm back in the groove with a clearer vision of what I want Other Tales Media to be. So, what does that mean for H.M.P. Trinity? I'll still be going forward with this project; however, that won't be for a while. I've got another project that has been ready to go for over a year and a half that I simply have done nothing with. I told myself that I was "waiting until I was ready" as it's a larger project than anything I've done previously, but no more waiting on that. I'll be tackling that first. If you're interested, please do follow me as I'll be putting the casting call up very soon, and I will be devoting ALL of my time and resources to that project.
Jennifer Gaffgan is a 38-year-old woman who is the current warden of H.M.P. Trinity. She is a ruthless, power hungry woman who transformed the once lax prison into the most feared prison on the planet.
- An English accent is preferred, but not required.
- She is very calm and well-spoken, but a hint of her sadistic nature should come out in her lines, especially when she is irritated.
- Jennifer should also possess a feeling of entitlement due to the fact she is both the youngest warden of any prison on Euphona, as well as the only female warden currently holding such a position.
- Jennifer typically likes interviews, but does not like Natalia.
In light of the recent escape of four of the prisoners under my watch, I would like to extend an invitation to those who remain within our walls: please do try and replicate their success, and I promise I will break you.
(After being asked how the prisoners escaped) I'm not at liberty to discuss that. Actually, you know what, I'll tell you this: dumb luck. It was absolutely dumb luck that they got out. It was no breach of security, no well thought out plan, just pure, dumb luck. That is why I'm not worried about future escape attempts. It simply won't happen again.
(When Natalia asks how Jennifer will prevent future escape attempts) I'll prevent them the same way I always have: fear. (After Natalia questions how effective fear is) It is very fucking effective. It's been effective so far, and will continue to be effective. Don't ask me such stupid questions. Fear is the only thing that separates bravery from submission.
Natalia Lane is a 24-year-old reporter with SCTV News, an internet news organization based out of Serenade City. She is well-known for being incredibly persistent, which has built up a reputation for her that makes her difficult to work with, but also incredibly adept at her job.
- An English accent is preferred, but not required.
- Natalia has a very outgoing personality, and is very energetic.
- Natalia is very persistent, as mentioned, and is very good at figuring out how to push people's buttons.
- Natalia does not frighten easily, and stays calm even when threatened.
I'm Natalia Lane, here with the warden of H.M.P. Trinity, Jennifer Gaffgan, who has finally agreed to an interview after news broke that four prisoners recently staged a successful escape from her prison's walls. In our previous coverage, we urged the public to be careful, vigilant, and stay at home if possible, as this criminals may be very, very dangerous.
(After Jennifer states that there is no reason for panic) With all due respect, Ms. Gaffgan, this is the most secure prison in the world, is it not? For a group of prisoners to successfully escape says leagues about the danger they pose; unless, of course, the real revelation here is that your prison is not as secure as your marketing team would have us believe?
We will keep following this story and relay all necessary information so that you, the people at home, can feel safe and stay aware of the events currently transpiring. Please tune in frequently and check out website and socials for any updates. I'm Natalia Lane, with SCTV News.
Natalia's camera operator who is filming the interview.
- Bad timing is their expertise.
- They are very awkward.
- They are aware of how strict Natalia is with angles, and are constantly trying to perfect them, which is often distracting to both Natalia and her interviewees.
I'll make sure I get the good shots.
Jennifer, if you could step to the-- (Jennifer glares at them) um, actually you're good where you are.
