Project Overview

This is an extension to my prior casting call, searching for voice actors to voice some major characters, and a recasting for one of the characters. All successful auditionees will be invited to the GotB Discord server, with the current cast members (unless stated otherwise)

“Guardian of the Bees” is an audio drama I wrote, during COVID Lockdown No. 1.

The story revolves around an Eve Faluco named Honeycomb as she tells the story of her life. From the day she got exiled from her home, to the day she saved endangered creatures.

  • Update for Minor Characters

    Hey everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it?

    Firstly, thanks so much for all your auditions for the minor characters. I am happy to inform everyone that, in due course, I will be sending Discord friend requests to all the successful people. Once accepted, I will add you to the Guardian of the Bees server, where you will find a script outlining all the minor characters’ lines.

    If you don’t receive a friend request from me, don’t worry as your participation is still greatly appreciated and I am still very thankful.

    Lastly, after the few months hiatus, Guardian of the Bees will be returning in September this year!

Sky is a supporting character in “Guardian of the Bees”. She is a blue merle Eve Faluco, who befriends Gidget and Honeycomb, while they live as strays, by sharing her food with them. She later encourages them both to join her as a tame.

  • (chilled): Are you two lost, or something?

  • (excited): Rainbow, do you want to meet Venus?

  • (sad): Are you sure that you want to do that?

Razor Tooth is a member of Scar Snout’s wolverine mob. Fiercely loyal to Scar Snout, he often does things, without thinking, no thanks to his leader’s influence on him. This resulted in the killings of different animals, including Gidget’s parents. It is later revealed that, along with Trap Jaw, he is the first few wolverines to turn against their insane leader.

  • (eager): Oh, I can’t wait to stick my fang into them!

  • (disappointed): But boss, I wanted to kill them!

  • (Unsure): Trap Jaw, are you sure about this?

Scar Snout portrays the main antagonist in “Guardian of the Bees”. He is a corrupt leader of a wolverine mob and has a bloodlust that is unquenchable, and he finds fun in trying to manipulate those who are blindly loyal to him

  • (Enraged): You’re all foolish to think you can stand up to me!

  • (Irritated): Need I remind you, young lady, that I am your father. You do what I say, or else.

  • (mean/disbelief): You really think your silly little job is an excuse for me not to kill you?
