The Grayscale series is about the tale of two heroes, who are nothing alike. They help each other rid the city of criminals in their own ways. Nightfall is the skilled fighter that can take on dozens of criminals with ease. All he cares about is exterminating criminals no matter the cost. He is hot tempered, which can sometimes put him at a huge disadvantage; however, his analytical thinking and resourcefulness makes up for it. General Disaster has a colorful personality and a silver tongue. His heart is true and so are his intentions. He uses his diplomatic attitude to sway his opponents into changing their minds. You could easily find him in a bar more often than a battlefield. General Disaster often tries to teach Nightfall that there is an alternative to killing villains, and what it means to be a true hero. On the other hand, Nightfall teaches General Disaster his fighting style and expert tactics. Although they might often argue, they become inseparable. Individually, they have their quirks. Together, they are unstoppable.
