Project Overview
### **Phase 1: The Prequel (Mark's Story)**
* **The Protagonist:** Instead of Grunkle Stan, the story centers on **Mark**, a scientist who comes to the town to investigate mysterious reports.
* **The Investigation:** Mark spends time cataloging the town's strange creatures in a journal.
* **The Encounter:** Mark eventually meets **Magnity** (this universe’s version of Bill Cipher).
* **The Portal:** Magnity tricks Mark into making a deal and building the interdimensional portal.
* **The Conflict:** Mark demands that Magnity leave his mind, but Magnity refuses and reveals his plan to use the portal to unleash an apocalypse. Bound by their deal, Mark can't directly stop Magnity and is forced to flee the town—the only place Magnity is currently trapped.
### **Phase 2: The Reset (7 Years Later)**
* **A New Arrival:** Seven years after Mark flees, a new family moves in and buys his old house.
* **Finding the Journal:** One of the kids discovers the journal Mark left behind, setting the events of the series in motion.
### **Phase 3: The Main Timeline & Apocalypse**
* **Weirdmageddon Wins:** Unlike the original series, the kids fail to stop Magnity.
* **Eternal Chaos:** Magnity successfully triggers Weirdmageddon, and it never ends. The story transforms into a full-blown apocalyptic survival series.
