Hiya guys, sorry for me being less active here, I have caught a cold for a like a week or 2, I'm focussing on gwtting better before casting
Don't worry it won't take that long
Hiya y'all!
So I wanted to cover this video (https://youtu.be/TcueoGEfAdQ?si=lMm5vWE2SS4GJzwt )with the actual Hazbin Hotel characters shown in this animatic; a Hazbin Hotel version of "Good For You" from "Dear Evan Hanson". I already got permission from the one who made the animatic.
The roles this project includes are:
Cherri Bomb (Heidi most part)
Vaggie (Alana)
Angel Dust (Jared)
Charlie Morningstar (Part of Heidi/Alana in the latter half)
Alastor (Part of Heidi/Alana in the latter half)
Sir Pentious. It is based on a "Mindwipe" AU (I haven't read it myself but the video really impressed me; if ya wanna read the fanfic check the description of the video above).
So since this is round two, let me explain. I still haven't found a Sir Pentious I'm satisfied with, and he is taking over the lead of the original musical and the main focus of the video. So I'll only still be casting him this round.
I've got my own somewhat global character division already done. I'm taking Cherri Bomb's role myself (taking the Pilot Cherri Bomb approach, not as Australian as the Series).
My current character division: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KGJd_tMqCFJAdHVmWBrU6trm52nPDeI2aG4oIUS26Jk/edit?usp=drivesdk .
I'd recommend using a microphone and sending auditions with as little backgroundnoise as possible.
Let's make this fun!
Don't worry it won't take that long
Sir Pentious will be taking over the role of Evan Hansen; he appears in the latter half of the song and is somewhat the tragic antagonist in this song, if you can call it that. He is desparate for a way out of the situation.
Requirement: Try to stay true to Sir Pentious character, but don't force it.
In this song the original has a somewhat high range, but try to keep it to Sir Pentious rather than forcing a high pitch if you are unsure of reaching it.
Go from timestamp 2:12 in charactervoice
For Sir Pentious way of singing, it might be an idea to look into "It starts with sorry" even if 'this' song is more dramatic
