Project Overview
- Child Roles: 8-16 (This is a large age gap considering the kids are all between 6 and 10 years old. Older actors must sound like a child convincingly.)
- Young Adult Roles: 13+ (PLEASE BE MATURE IF YOU ARE UNDER 17 AUDITIONING FOR THESE ROLES. Must sound older as well.)

The author of the book Fun Home, she narrates the show and the path she takes through life, trying to recall the events that led to her father's suicide. Is a Mezzo-Soprano. Must have a powerful voice and able to portray emotion.

The tone is what I can't stand. It's so typical, so all-knowing. He has to be the expert. Lots of advice and wisdom on things he doesn't know anything about! I'm gay! Which means I'm not like him and I've never been like him and he can't deal with that. He still wants to be the intellectual, broad minded, liberal bohemian, but he can't pull it off 'cause he can't deal with me! And you know what, he never could, he never could.
