Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged RECASTING ACTORS AND EDITORS (Works In Progress Entertainment)
Project Overview
Hi I am Matthew Hall aka Echelon
I am one of the Head(s) of Department for Works In Progress Entertainment, we are a group of voice actors and editors who abridge anime and hopefully more in the future. Currently we are working on several parodies including our abridged series of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and other various anime and other animations.
Unfortunately, we got slapped with back to back copyright claims which locked our channel in a coma, and because of that we now have to recast some of the roles in our Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged series. Along with that, we are also going to be looking for visual editors for both of our Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged and Neon Genesis Evangelion Abridged as we are in need of those as well.
If you are going to audition for one of the character roles please give each line at least 3 takes so that we can get a sense of your range with the character, and please feel free to audition for as many characters as your want/can voice as the more roles you get casted in the more time you'll have to spend recording lines with the director(s)
Also if you are casted please understand that the director of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Abridged will want to live direct you in order to get the best possible line recordings.

Roy Mustang is Edward and Alphonse's commanding officer and is better known as the Flame Alchemist Brotherhood. For this abridged series please try to play up the sarcasm as its his second language. Also if you are cast please be ready to be with the team long term. In terms of voice please try to get as close as you can to his dub actor Travis Willingham. Whoever is casted in this role will be considered a full-fledged member of Works In Progress Entertainment.

Congratulations, boys! Not only did you manage to become State Alchemists, but you also joined the “War Crime Alchemists Club” and all before 18! Wow. Man I should really introduce you to Kimbley, he’d love you! I mean, wow!(Trying to console Edward Elric but fails horribly)
“What, you think that’s bad? When I was half your age I was forced to cut open my dog and sleep inside its guts in the middle of a blizzard so I wouldn’t freeze to death overnight.”(Realizing that Edward would be the next possible target of Scar)
Oh that’s right… Edward is a state alchemist… and would be a target of… the… serial… killer…
Maes Hughes is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Amestrian Military, best friend to Roy Mustang, and loving father and daughter. In terms of voice please try to get as close as you can to his dub actor Sonny Strait. He's primarily a Season 1 character, so this will be a short term role, though he may reappear later on in the series though you will be treated as a full team member of Works In Progress Entertainment.

Yes, for you see, I have a secret identity, I AM THE PRICKLY POPPA, and my mission is to cuddle and tickle all of the cutie wooties in his house with my beard.(Initially normally but quickly switches to a more blissful tone when he starts talking about his wife)
Well I was about to bring that up, but then we started talking about the Elrics and how you emotionally scarred them. Then I was gonna bring up the serial killer but what you said was so ridiculous I had to go to my happy place. So I started thinking about my sweet, sexy Gracia. In fact last night... When I got off, Gracia met me at the door and I… Got off…Because I just got a text from Al, and it said (Yell a bad Alphonse impression) “PLEASE TELL RIZA TO PLAY THE VOICEMAIL, IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH”. And it was in all caps.
Scar is a survivor of the Ishvalan Civil War that wiped out most of his people, and now acts a symbol of vengeance as he kills State Alchemists in order to avenge his people. We are looking for a gruff, angry voice closer to his 2009 incarnation voiced by J. Michael Tatum. He will be around for most of the show and in turn so will his actor along with being considered a fully fledged member of Works In Progress Entertainment.

King Bradley is the Leader of Amestris and one of the seven Homunculi. He has not had lines yet in our series current incarnation but he will be a far more humorous individual who wants to be king of the pirates and hopes to use the Philosopher's Stone in order to make his dream a reality and it a bit less subtle about his evil nature. If you can please try to get as close as you can to his dub actor Ed Blaylock in terms of voice. Whoever is casted in this role will be considered a full-fledged member of Works In Progress Entertainment.
