PAID - Anime Comic for Cover Band
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello friends! My name is Nicole. I am currently seeking a freelance artist to design a mascot character to be used as the public logo for our band. The character will be used to promote the band's social media page. Our band performs covers of popular anime openings and endings.
We are looking for an original design for our mascot, Nikoru-Chan the idol, in a shojo (cutesy), chibi-like anime style. In addition to creating the mascot, I will also need several one page designs of the character for our social media page; we aim to post once a day. Our vision is to create a mini comic on Instagram using this character and thus need several illustrations daily. The job is full time and you will be asked to respond and create illustrations in a timely manner (they will mostly be simple one page comics). I may also ask you to design album artwork for our Albums, Singles, and EPs, which are to be distributed via CDBaby to be released on iTunes, Spotify, etc, and banners for our social media pages.
Payment will be negotiated on an individual basis. If and when I reach out to you we will discuss individual rates.
OVERVIEW
My dream and passion has always been to produce content. I am hoping the creation of this mascot character will help promote our band, which aims to adapt and create English covers of popular anime tunes for an English speaking audience.
I hope we can walk this journey together.

Requirements are as follows:
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must be available, reliable and able to communicate responsibly in a timely matter
- Must be able to produce artwork in 1-3 weeks turnaround time
WHO AM I?
I have a background in Acting/Theater, Writing, and Project Management. A YouTuber since 2006, I’ve worked on English adaptations of anime songs as well impersonations of characters. In 2015, I auditioned for the Emmy Award winning studio Bang Zoom Entertainment, where I placed as a semi-finalist in "The Perfect Idol" competition, a contest searching for the next biggest anime voice talent. Soon after I had the pleasure of voice acting minor characters and Walla in a few anime titles by Media Blasters (2015). For health reasons I took a five year hiatus, but I am now just returning to work. I am happy to begin doing what I love again.
