Pico has developed an aggressive and homicidal side, rarely showing any fear and ruthlessly fighting anyone standing in his way. He is an exceptional gunman and is usually seen dual-wielding his weaponry with remarkable proficiency. His weapons of choice are automatic weapons such as a MAC-10-like pistol or the M16 rifle. He also has tremendous unarmed combat skills, as seen in Pico 2, the unreleased sequel to Pico's School. He is also shown to be quite paranoid as he isn't too trusting of others and is always armed. Despite this, he has proven himself to be a very trustworthy friend and ally to those he does trust, betraying Daddy Dearest twice to spare and even save/assist Boyfriend when instructed to kill him.

Pico is hired by Daddy Dearest to kill Boyfriend for humiliating him after their sing-off in Week 1. Unbeknownst to him at the time, Pico is sent to kill his ex-boyfriend. Pico is only given a location for his target, and upon finding out that Boyfriend is his target, he decides to spare him and instead challenges him to a rap battle. Despite his previous setback, Pico is later rehired with the simple task of confirming Boyfriend's death after he and Girlfriend are dropped into a dangerous war-zone. However, he finds Boyfriend alive and seeing as Tankmen ordered his men to shoot the two, Pico forfeits his mission and jumps to Boyfriend's rescue by killing the onslaught of Tankmen during the Week 7 track Stress.

Due to his betrayal of Daddy Dearest, Pico is now in big trouble with Girlfriend's parents. The cutscene in Weekend 1 shows Pico running away from and fighting his friends, Nene and Darnell, who are trying to kill him for the betrayal. At the end of Weekend 1 however, Pico and Darnell have reconciled and are friends once again.

Darnell is a trigger-happy person who is characterized by his pyromaniac tendencies; he loves setting things on fire so much to the point where he even goes as far as to burn down 9 buildings to watch them burn for his own pleasure, giving him a near sadistic nature. Darnell is very intelligent and has a high intellect, as he is able to understand many things with little effort. Like Nene, Darnell appears to be vindictive and petty, attacking his own friend Pico for allowing his relationship with Boyfriend to ruin their contract with Daddy Dearest.

That being said, Darnell isn't devoid of redeeming qualities. When encountering Pico after the latter tries escaping from Nene, Darnell offers to rap with him over his life rather than trying to kill him on the spot like the former did, showcasing an honorable side to him. Furthermore when Pico wins their fight, rather than holding any ill will towards his former classmate, Darnell simply smiles and embraces him, showing how much he cares for Pico as a friend.

Nene is a highly suicidal girl with promiscuous tendencies. She is also very sadistic and a masochist. Similarly to Darnell, she appears to be very greedy and selfish, going as far as to attack her own friend Pico for the presumed sake of money. She is stated to have ADD (ADHD-PI) in Pico's World, meaning she is also inattentive. She is also lustful, as she tends to sleep around. She appears to have a penchant for knives. She can also be quite mean.

Nene was hired by Daddy Dearest alongside Pico and Darnell to kill Boyfriend. After Pico fails to kill Boyfriend two times, both her and Darnell lose their chance to get paid, both then hunt down Pico in WeekEnd 1. Nene mostly spectates the fight, but is ready to murder Pico if he starts losing.
