Fractured Realms

She is described as the introverted type. She has an inclination towards observing. Calm and composed, she carefully studies the whole of the Veyrun town website before taking action. Her spoken output is sparing, but when she does speak, her statements are either surprisingly astute or refreshingly blunt. She's the first to notice the section of the library that's been covered, the misaligned street signs, and the repetitive dialogue.. Fiction is her comfort, and she has a natural gift for detecting hidden patterns, while pretending that she is simply "looking for something to read.” 

BACKGROUND: She always had a way of noticing things that the others didn’t, like the way the sunlight hit the window at exactly 3:12 p.m. every afternoon or how a certain book on the shelf always seemed a little more worn than the others. Growing up with her sisters, she often preferred to sit back and observe, finding comfort in the quiet moments when everything felt still. She wasn’t shy, just more focused on absorbing the world around her. Their parents, while loving, were often preoccupied with their own work, leaving the three of them to entertain themselves. But even when they were left to their own devices, she found it hard to let go of the feeling that there was more to the world than what they saw. When they moved to Veyrun, she couldn’t ignore how off the place felt, and something about the town’s oddities intrigued her. Though she doesn’t say much, she’s the first to notice the little things that don’t add up, and the first to silently start connecting the dots

Flaw: She can become so focused on finding patterns that she begins seeing connections everywhere, even when she may be wrong. She also keeps observations to herself for too long. 

She has a loud, bold and assertive personality, defined by her continuous moving around. She shows little regard for spooky speculation or ignored books; instead, she trusts her instincts, innately senses the feelings of others, and always states her opinions. If something seems off, she is the first to step into discovery. She shows quickness and is even faster to stand in front of her friends, protecting them from any potential harm, reflecting a mix of chaos and niceness

BACKGROUND: Was always the loudest voice in the room, and proud of it. While her sisters were reading or rearranging fairy lights, she was testing how many neighborhood fences she could jump without getting caught. She hated boredom more than anything and treated every day like a mini adventure.Growing up, she was the one who dragged the other two outside, pushed them to try new things, and started arguments she didn’t always finish. But beneath the energy and jokes, she’s always taken her role as “protector” seriously. When their parents were busy and her sisters got overwhelmed, she learned how to step up. Now that they’ve moved to Veyrun, she sees the town as a fresh start and a challenge. If something weird’s going on, fine, but whatever it is, it won’t touch her sisters without going through her first.

Flaw: She acts before thinking and treats fear like something she can overpower. She may also hide her own vulnerability because she believes the protector is not allowed to be scared 

She’s upbeat, cozy, and a little chaotic in the best way. The kind of girl who takes Rock Paper Scissors way too seriously. She's a homebody who finds comfort in the little things, like rearranging furniture until it feels just right, and tends to brush off anything weird with a nervous laugh and a sarcastic comment. While she might not always know what’s going on, she’s the first to crack a joke or keep the mood light when things get tense. 

BACKGROUND: Always been a bit of a dreamer, someone who thrives on making the ordinary feel extraordinary. Growing up, she loved creating little worlds within their house, whether through her elaborate decorating or the stories she’d invent about ordinary objects. She’s never been great at following the rules or fitting in. Her spontaneous and endless curiosity made her the one to suggest they move to Veyrun, thinking it would be an adventure. But now, as things get strange, she’s learning that while she’s good at making the world around her seem magical, she’s never quite figured out how to deal with the things she can’t explain.

Flaw: She uses humor and optimism to avoid acknowledging fear. Her determination to make Veyrun feel like home may cause her to dismiss warning signs longer than her sisters.

Kind of a background character, she will be shown a couple times.

Same as the Barista, she will be shown in a couple more episodes but she isn't a huge character

This will just be things people will say in the background little whispers, quiet conversations, eerie comments etc.

Another Background character, may be shown again right now just a disembodied voice :)

So I have a couple of scenes I may want animated since it may be hard to do that with the knowledge I have now here’s an example from episode 2

“She picks up a book laying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs

That's not mine.. 

(Pauses)

She turns the book over to see the library stamp on the back

(Quietly) 

Library book..?

She opens the front cover. A checkout card is tucked inside, she pulls it out

(Reading, confused)

Cora..

(Pause)

What the f-

The card has her name written on it with yesterday’s date

I didn’t check this out

She flips it back to the front the title reads

“A History of Veyrun — Revised Version”

She flips through a few pages. Most of it looks like ordinary town history until she stops on a page showing an old map

Cora

(Quietly)

Harrow street..

(Pause)

Wasn’t that-

A floorboard creeks upstairs. Cora quickly closes the book and looks toward the stairs”

If you are able to animate Minecraft that would be great if you can animate like 2D that’s also great we can talk about that more once casted. I would love if you could attach a portfolio and if you don’t have one show me any recent animation you have done!
