Mike Schmidt is the main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's Encore. At the start, Mike appears as an awkward and anxious man who is suffering from memory loss and sleep deprecation. Mike is a timid character, always worrying about something and never having a moment of tranquility. When Mike is talking to someone, it always seems as if he is in a dazed state. His head is always in the clouds, not being able to focus for long. Throughout the first season Mike goes through an arc, where he not only finds out about his true identity but to where he finally can take a stand for himself.

Mary Smith is a police officer who works for the Hurricane Utah Police Department. She's a tough woman who is hard to crack while also being able to think fast on her feet when the time comes for it. However, she has a traumatic past that is connected with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. However, she masks her heavy mental baggage with an authoritative tone. She is a main protagonist.

Listen Mike, even if you wanted to take the law into your own hands it isn't for YOU to decide what happens to him, there isn't enough evidence that proves he's the killer, and even if he was...his fate should be decided by the law.
Fredbear is a big charismatic animatronic bear with a booming suave deep voice, along with a slight southern accent. He's always ready for a party with his undying positivity and good vibes.

Sunny is a happy go-lucky yellow rabbit animatronic, with a much more prominent southern accent and a loud voice. He has a positive, charismatic, and ecstatic personality, ready to rock 'n' roll with his banjo!

Charlie Emily is the daughter of Henry Emily. She is a caring type of person with a sense of empathy and a strong moral compass. During the project she'd range from a young 10 year old to her mid teens as a 15 year old. She also isn't afraid to fight back, even if the odds are against her. Even though she died she'd then live on through the Puppet.

Albert is the chef of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He's work focused but is quite rude, demanding, and has a somewhat similar personality to Benson from the Regular Show.

Jeremiah is the best friend of Mike Schmidt. He's a very chill and fun loving guy who works at a local pizza place, Jeff's Pizza, and would be the type to hype up Mike when he needs it or put his foot down if Mike were to be too frantic. As for age he is around Mike's age of 27.

Uncle Hank is the old Uncle of Mike Schmidt. Within the series he plays as a passive father figure role to Mike throughout the series each time they interact with each other. The Voice he has is similar to John Goodman.

Aunt Jen is the passive Mother Figure of Mike Schmidt during the series. Each time they interact she is always showing a concern for Mike's mental and emotional health. She is a slightly southern sounding woman who is in her early 60's.

Garrett Afton is the younger brother of Michael Afton. He is a shy, sensitive, young boy with a heart of gold. He puts others before himself and is very trusting. While Garrett, before his death, plays as a minor secondary character, Golden Freddy plays as a secondary antagonist during the series first season. Golden Freddy, possessed by Garrett, is a very emotionally vulnerable soul, he is impulsive and filled with rage, while not mad at Michael himself he is upset with the general situation and is very vengeful. He, like Charlie, is more conscious than the others, retaining most of his memories from childhood. While the other souls move on at the end of season one, Garrett and Charlie both stick around until the end where they are set free.
