Final Fantasy VII Fandub
Project Overview
A fandub of the original Final Fantasy VII game that will be posted to my youtube channel! This will be a long term project so please only audition if you can commit. The fandub will be split into episodes. There will be deadlines for lines so please be sure to meet them in a timely manner. If cast as a lead, you will be expected to also voice as extras throughout the game as needed. If you have any questions, feel free to message me here or on my discord MeaganJ#1785. On the surface, Cloud Strife presents himself as a hardened warrior, cocky and headstrong, coldhearted and disinterested in anything beyond completing the hired job at hand. He tells others, often dismissively and with snark, that he has no interest in larger causes, and appears unshaken by the devastation the bombings he helped carry out cause. He is cool-headed, and mostly carries himself as an expert and professional. Beneath the surface, Cloud is socially awkward, being well-intentioned but unsure how to carry himself in conversations, having difficulties to express himself. Many who are close to him begin to see through the cracks in his hardened persona, recognizing he is softer deep down. Through it all, Cloud is steadfastly loyal to his friends, harboring guilt if he feels he has let them down, and strives to be a hero. He is willing to go through any lengths, from fighting off powerful enemies alone, to crossdressing despite the discomfort to don a disguise, to keep them safe.
No one lives in the slums because they want to. It's like this train. It can only go where the tracks take it.

Barret is a passionate and emotionally-driven leader, caring deeply about his cause and his teammates. His energetic, rousing speeches motivate his team, whose burdens he promises to lift. Barret's passion is a double-edged sword, and can lead him to be reckless, such as when he becomes too aggressive and causes a scene on a train. Barret strives to be strong for others. In addition to his teammates.

I know you got problems... hell, we all do. But you gotta understand that there ain't no gettin' offa this train we're on, till we get to the end of the line.
Tifa is empathic, motherly, and reserved, both out of being observant and for being emotionally shy. Tifa identifies the feelings of others, offering sanctuary and protection for her teammates. While normally reserved, Tifa still shows aggression at times. Tifa has low self-confidence and is self-critical of her faults, always pushing herself to do better. While looking out for others, Tifa rarely discusses her own feelings: whenever she is asked, she will either express surprise, or quickly change the subject.
I made it this far, believing in the memories we shared. This isn't happening! It's too cruel!
Sephiroth!? Did Sephiroth do this to you?! Sephiroth... SOLDIER... Mako Reactors... Shin-Ra... I hate them all!
But that's all right. As long as I'm with you... As long as you're by my side... I won't give up even if I'm scared.
Aerith is compassionate, upbeat, and joyful, as well as street-smart with a spunky and cocky attitude. Aerith maintains a hopeful and positive outlook in the face of danger, cheering the others on when she can, and always tries to see the good in people.
I think they believe I have what it takes to be in SOLDIER!
I want to know you. The real you.
The Shinra Electric Power Company isn't the real enemy. I promise you. There's a much bigger threat. I just want to do everything in my power to help. All of you - and the planet.
Red XIII has a strong sense of honor and courage, especially regarding his father, whom he believed a coward who abandoned his tribe. He is polite, curious and observant, with something of a distaste for humans, which may stem from Shinra's treatment of him. He is intelligent, and knows much about the planet due to being raised in Cosmo Canyon.
I am that which you see before you. Nothing less.
Midgar... I hated the fact I was caught by Hojo and taken back to the lab where they did all kinds of experiments on me... But because of that I was able to meet you all... People you meet... others you don't... Strange, isn't it?
I am Nanaki, son of Seto... Warrior and protector of Cosmo Canyon.
Yuffie is mischievous, cocky, and rebellious, acting brash and aggressive. Yuffie is brash and cocky, bestowing honorific titles onto herself, such as "the single white rose of Wutai", and provoking her opponents with insulting nicknames. She is usually bright and cheerful, adopting a playful attitude, though she struggles with motion sickness, both seasickness and airship sickness.
Remember, if you piss me off... it'll cost you!!

Cloud...sign this. It's a contract that says when the war is over, all the materia will belong to me.
Cait Sith is fun-loving and playful, but cowardly and a poor fighter. He can be loud and irritate others. Although Cait Sith initially opposes Avalanche due to their attacks on mako reactors, upon seeing how hard Cloud and his friends fight to save the planet of Gaia, he has a change of heart.
*Reeve is a normal voice and Cait can be a funny type of voice*
Cait - Listen you stupid, slimy, sleazy old scab bag! If you want to get women, there is such a thing as the RIGHT way!
Cait - What you pursue will be yours... but you will lose something dear.
Reeve - I didn't want to do this... using dirty tricks and taking hostages... But this is how it is... no compromises. So why don't we continue on as we did before?
Dark and brooding over his past experiences, Vincent conceals many secrets. He speaks in a cryptic manner when he talks about his past, calling his traumas "sins". Despite his cold personality, he is not uncaring; at a point where Cloud admits he thought Vincent does not care about the Planet, Vincent states that is just how he is, and apologizes for the false impression. Vincent is naturally a loner.
Too much hope is the opposite of despair... An overpowering love may consume you in the end.
Defeat Sephiroth... Defeat the son of that beloved woman... Am I on the verge of committing another sin...? Or am I atoning as best I can for only watching...?
Cold? Hmmm... I guess that's just the way I am, sorry.
Cid is known for his foul mouth. He does not bother about trivialities, and prefers going to the source of the problem, though sometimes seems wholly uncaring. Cid was always crude, but he is kindhearted. Cid does not always mean his insults in a negative way. Cid finds a new perspective towards the party's goal to save the Planet, something that he didn't care much for in the beginning.
Hey, do you know who I am? I'm Cid—that's who the hell I am! Now just let me handle it!
I want you to know that I didn't dislike him. Gotta admit he was a strange dude. Just when you thought he was cool, he'd go and do some damn fool thing.
We're busy runnin' back and forth! Even my bikini goddess would be pantin' about now!
Before his madness, Sephiroth maintains an outwardly aloof and professional demeanor during his time at Shinra. He is known for hardly mingling with anyone besides his friends, and being indifferent toward his fans. He can act humane and caring in contrast to his reputation. Sephiroth is intelligent and respects those he deems worthy. He has a dry sense of humor. Sometimes, he can be frustrated and caught off-guard. As the strongest SOLDIER, Sephiroth is confident to the point of arrogance, yet has no interest in personal glory. After learning of the experiments that led to his birth, Sephiroth falls into insanity, becoming murderous, ruthless, and vengeful, yet retaining his calm and cold demeanor. He develops a messiah complex, proclaiming to be "the chosen one" destined to lead the planet. He becomes sadistic.
Only death awaits you all, but do not fear. For it is through death that a new spirit energy is born. Soon, you will live again as a part of me.

Ha, ha, ha. Think, Cloud? ..."Cloud"? Ha, ha, ha. Oh, excuse me. You never had a name...
Jessie is determined, spunky, and charismatic. Like Biggs and Wedge, she is upbeat and playful. She is fearless when it comes to romance, openly flirting with Cloud to the point that he calls her "desperate". Vibrant and animated demeanor.
Each town used to have a name, but no one in Midgar remembers them. Instead of names, we refer to them by numbered sectors. That's the kind of place this is.
Wedge is easygoing, thoughtful, and optimistic. Like Biggs and Jessie, he is upbeat and playful. His jovial nature helps to ease tension and lighten the mood of his friends.
An' Cloud... Sorry, I wasn't any help.
Someday Avalanche's gonna be famous...and me, too!
Biggs is calm, rational, and kindhearted. Like Wedge and Jessie, he is upbeat and playful. He maintains a collected and confident attitude, taking pride in his role in Avalanche.
Say, do you think Cloud's going to fight to the end for AVALANCHE?
That should keep the planet going...at least a little longer.
Marlene is bright and intelligent and more mature than most children her age. She's quiet and shy at first, but takes a liking to Aerith, calling her "Flower Lady". Despite her age, Marlene is trusted behind a bar. She is caring and thoughtful and dearly loves her father, wishing he was around more, a feeling he reciprocates.

President Shinra is an overly ambitious, greedy man, stopping at nothing to gain more money and power. Both callous and ruthless, President Shinra is unfazed at disposing anyone who might oppose him and his company.
Forgive me for asking, but I can't be expected to remember each person's name. Unless you become another Sephiroth. Yes, Sephiroth... He was brilliant. Perhaps too brilliant...
Citizens, unite! Come to the light, Mako energy. Power is truth. Shinra is the future. Real happiness can be found in obedience to the company!
And such a waste of good fireworks, just to get rid of vermin like you...
Reno is cocky, cynical, and somewhat lazy. He has a penchant for gossip. Despite his appearance and attitude, he is regarded as a prominent worker; while second in command, he takes his job with pride. He has a rebellious temperament and his actions can be sadistic, contrasting his laid back personality.
Don't step on the flowers.
Don't misunderstand. We have no intention of joining you. But for now, we'll agree not to bother each other. That's all.
