Felag Studio
Project Overview
We're looking for competent new volunteers to join Felag Studio for its upcoming short film! This is a mixed age group, meaning you will see both minor and adults working in the same space, meaning safety and communication are our top priority.
If you're looking to join, please provide past works if any, a few reasons why you'd like to join, a few things about yourself, and your email so we can contact you! If you are emailed, that likely means you have been accepted, and we'd like to talk further. If you are accepted all communication will be on a private Discord server.
Keep in mind, most roles in this project are unpaid, meaning you will not receive any form of currency for your hard work. But we do notice the sacrifices you make, so in exchange, we are willing to give a voucher for future work, full credit in the film, no required work hours, flexible but reasonable deadlines, and full support for any project you decide to do in your future.
Our upcoming films story is as follows:
In a small village on the northern coast of Iceland lives Anir, a young boy who has spent his life training to become a watchman for his village.
Known for his kindness and his willingness to help, Anir is beloved by everyone in the village.
One day, from the top of his watchtower, he spots a rival clan approaching the village with the wish of destroying it and ending the rivalry. He rings the bell and alerts the village, giving everyone time to flee and prevent the village from being destroyed.
Though he does not survive the raid, Anir’s bravery protects his home. As a reward, his soul is placed in the sky to keep watch over the travelers of Iceland for years to come.
