Fatherhood (a short comic dub)
Project Overview
Fatherhood is a short comic of my original characters Kilroy and Venus, which have a father-child relationship. However, they are not biologically related. Kilroy has created Venus in his own personal lab. They live together in an abandoned hospital where Kilroy has created a not-so-great living situation. They often have a lot of tension and this leads to many arguments, one of which takes place in this comic.

Kilroy is 42 years old, he Irish and Hungarian. He has semi-deep voice and is very nervous/jittery at times when he speaks. His Irish/Hungarian accent is very present when he speaks. He is the type to mumble to himself a lot when he is alone. He can also sound quite aggressive when agitated. But don't be fooled, he's just scared. All the time. He is a botanist and hermit who isolates himself in his own little world to work on his projects. Feel free to improvise on certain lines, or take some creative freedom. But don't stray too far from the character traits/vocal description.
A good example of what he sounds like is Abbot Cellach from Secret of Kells

*yelling and panicked* "I told you not to go in those rooms, I haven't cleaned them yet they aren't safe!! You know better, Venus!"
*on the phone* "You really can't make it this weekend?? Please? Can't you just tell them something came up? You would if you loved me."
Venus is around the ages of 11-13. They have a soft voice, and the Irish/Hungarian accent is not too present, but they have definitely picked it up from Kilroy. They can have a masculine or feminine voice. They are androgynous, non-binary and transfem. They have a kind and shy voice, but get especially nervous around Kilroy. They usual have a flat/monotone sound to their voice.
Transfem or trans actors in general would be preferred for this role :)

"Yes.. thank you. I'm sorry he is so mean to you. I think he just really misses you when you're not here. I like when you're here too. Thank you for the present."
"A-are you sure..? I've never been out there.. Mr. Kilroy said it's not safe.. I don't wanna make him upset. He gets really mad... As long as we don't go too far."
