Father is the Monster (short film pixel art)
Project Overview
Hi there!
Awhile back I made a school project called Father is the Monster. I've been wanting to make something new and more polished but in the same vein. (possibly a game in the future) as a proof of concept.
I'm currently looking for pixel artists, voice actors, and music artists so we can have an original score for the short film.
People who are dedicated, artistic, and want to have some fun should totally audition.
PEOPLE WHO AUDITION:
Please make sure to leave your discord contact with your audition!
Pixel artists: Make sure you submit at least one completed animation (whether it's a 5 minute short film or a walk cycle) I just need to see you have the basics down.
Voice actors: Roles have not been fully fleshed out yet. You will be auditioning for a generic roll (young boy etc.) Please record a few takes of the suggested line with different emotions on each take.

She is a young girl who coped with her fathers abuse by imagining a monster. She told her brother all it was, was a monster. She wanted her brother to stay safe, not have to see what she did. But now that she is gone, father is taking it out on his son.
You don't see him as he really is, brother... Father is a monster... He always has been. I miss you brother, Stay safe.
Young boy dealing with the recent death of his mother, and recent disappearance of his sister. He's scared of what he calls the monster.
(Internal monologue) Mother is dead. It's as if the world is ending. Maybe I can escape... I can't escape.. Sister is gone too. Maybe now that sister is gone, father will be less angry. I hope he'll be less angry.
Needs to be great at melancholy/ dark music. Preferably a pianist. (Open to new ideas)
