Falls Mental - Original Animated Short Film 2
Project Overview
James, an amnesiac, wakes up in a mental hospital handcuffed to a woman named Val. When Val insists that the pair used to be homicide detectives, James realizes there may be something more insidious going at Falls Mental Asylum.
This is a psychological thriller/mystery with elements of comedy! The script has been fully written! We are also looking for concept artists!

Detective or schizophrenic, even he doesn't know. He's very smart and quick thinking, but he's also confused a lot. He's very rational and he's trying his best.
Aah! What? Who? I couldn’t have had that much to drink- wait, fuck, is this a hospital? Did I have that much last night? Wait… last night, last night, what was last night- I can’t- I don’t-
In any case, you gotta find some proof, something irrefutable to show that the whole thing is real, you know? Do you think you could find any?
Inconsistency? What do you mean?
Sassy and energetic, with one brain cell that she uses to think up conspiracy theories. She's confident and always ready to hit someone.
He can’t see me too? Bullshit.
Hah! That’s it! Proof! That’s the case we were assigned! Missing persons near the mental hospital- yes!
None of these explain why they can’t see me- unless they’re working together, and that’s how we were both knocked out, handcuffed, and brought here. All of this could just be some sort of tactic to confuse us- you know?
Refined, pompous, and almost definitely wears a way too expensive watch. He's nice enough, but can be a little condescending. This role is preferably an older/ middle aged man, but if your voice can fool me, go for it!
Has she been here? I’ve called the police this time, I won’t- oh, no matter. Hand me that book, James.
There’s, well, a situation that I’ve been looking into recently. We’re trying to keep it a bit quiet for now, but-

She's calm and cool, but cracks under pressure. Her voice is on the higher side. Feel free to overact on some of her lines, she's more of a facade than she appears at first.
I’m not sure- I could try- but I just want to try getting out, I don’t want to get- I don’t want to get killed, you know? You could come with me! We could leave!
If something or someone seems improbable, or gives you a story that seems illogical, they may not be real.
