EPIC The Musical: Wisdom Saga (GROUP COVER) | Keisha's Narrative: Fan Covers

Project Overview

Epic The Musical is a concept musical originally created from Jorge Rivera-Herrans. It surrounds the story of the odyssey. This project is aiming to cover all songs from the saga; The Wisdom Saga.

PROJECT RULES + INFORMATION

  1. Be at least age 13 and up to audition for this project please.

  2. Have Discord or your email attached to your audition so I can contact you if you obtain the role.

  3. Have some knowledge on EPIC: The Musical or Greek Mythology's Odyssey story. I usually don't say this for fandubs but I feel like this is needed; have listened to the saga before auditioning.

  4. Have a decent microphone or little to no background noise.

  5. A female character does not need to be sung by a female, a male character does not need to be sung by a male. You don't need to be a guy to audition for Telemachus, you don't need to be a girl to audition for Aphrodite. This is all for fun!

  6. Have sung at least 30 seconds - 1 minute of the song you're singing for your audition. Yes it can be acapella, but with instrumental is also recommended.

  7. You will receive a deadline of 2-3 weeks to finish your parts of the saga if you do receive the role. By auditioning, you agree to this deadline being done and you confirm you will have the time to finish your parts.

  8. THERE IS LITTLE TO NO ART ACTUALLY BEING USED FOR THIS. At most, we'll do lyric videos with your persona arts or character art. Do not expect animatics as we will not being those.

Disclaimer: Apollo and Athena already have singers, therefore they are not added here. (Also note some of the character descriptions come from britannica.com, not originally written by me!)

That's all, have fun with your auditions ^^

(DIsclaimer: If you're going to take this role, note that you will be singing in three songs total of this saga.) Telemachus is the son of Odysseus and Penelope. He sings three songs in this saga; Legendary, Little Wolf and We'll Be Fine. You don't need to be a male to sing as him by the way! Just have a medium-pitched voice I'd suggest (tenor - soprano). Again, this is just a fan cover group so~ :D (Telemachus art by gigi)

  • (Sing any part from one of his songs in the Wisdom Saga.)

Antinous sings in songs such as Legendary (more like dialogue though haha) and mainly in Little Wolf. He plays a somewhat more of antagonistic role, he has a deep voice, bass. (He doesn't get a picture because I haven't found anything of him yet)

  • (Sing a part from Little Wolf. - At least 30 secs - 1 min long.)

Calypso sings in one song in this saga; Love Paradise. She's the daughter of the Titan Atlas (or Oceanus or Nereus), a nymph of the mythical island of Ogygia. In Homer's Odyssey, Book V (also Books I and VII), she entertained the Greek hero Odysseus for seven years, but she could not overcome his longing for home even by promising him immortality. For her, I'd recommend you have a medium-pitched voice, mezzo-soprano. (Art: cludi_a_)

  • (Sing one of her parts from the song; "Love In Paradise.")

Odysseus was a Greek hero famed for his intellect and cunning. He created the plan to sack the city of Troy using a giant hollow horse. He is also famous for his long odyssey, or journey, trying to return home after the events of the Trojan War. Odysseus is one of the most well-known of the early Greek heroes. He sings in one song for this saga; Love In Paradise. (Art by gigi)

  • (Sing one of his parts from ; "Love In Paradise.")

Hephaestus is the ancient Greek god of fire, volcanoes, forges, and blacksmithing. His symbols include an anvil, a hammer, tongs, volcanoes, and quail. His original voice has a type of accent, but personally your voice just needs to be deep-pitched for him I believe! He sings in one song of this sags; God Games. (No art for him, didn't find anything.)

  • (Sing Hephaestus's Part In The Song ; "God Games.")

Aphrodite was the ancient Greek goddess of love, beauty, desire, and all aspects of sexuality. She could entice both gods and men into illicit affairs with her beauty and whispered sweet nothings. For this, I'd prefer asomewhat medium-high pitched voice for her (something that sounds similar to the original, soprano) and as for this saga, she sings in one song; God Games. (Art: gigi on YouTube)

  • (Sing Aphrodite's song from ; "God Games.")

Ares was the ancient Greek god of war or, more properly, the spirit of battle. Lover of Aphrodite as of the current time of this saga. For him, I'd prefer if you audition with a deep voice (bass). In this saga, he sings in one song; "God Games." (Art: gigi on YouTube)

  • (Sing Ares' Part In ; "God Games.")

Hera was an Olympian goddess in the Greek pantheon, known as the queen of the gods. She was the goddess of marriage, family, childbirth, and women. For this audition, I'd prefer if you were an alto. She sings in one song of this saga; God Games. (Art: Esha on YouTube.)

  • (Sing Hera's Part In The Song ; "God Games.")
