Project Overview

Part 2!! This audition post is for more Sterling Robotics Nandroids and Dhelce Nandroids.
Auditions for other Nandroids and human characters will come at a later date.
I am posting this on behalf of the game developer.

Emmy the Robot: The Fan Game is inspired by the comedic webtoon comic 'Emmy the Robot'.

Emmy and her friends are high-end robotic nannies, nandroids, created by Sterling Robotics, who are learning how to adapt to the world of humans.

Background on Dhelce Nandroids: Dhelce was created by a team of scientists, analysts, and dealers that extracted the nandroids from a parallel Earth, which was mostly destroyed by war. They miraculously recovered five thousand units, but only 200 were in good enough condition to not be disqualified from service. The aim of Dhelce is to sell "bootleg" nandroids for a quick buck, as well as to fund a campaign to drive the prices of Starling Robotics' models down dratically. The craziest part, Dhelce nandroids have human brains and other traces of organic matter inside their build. Despite their articulation being more robotic, they're clinically living things that think and feel as humans do.

Developer's Notes:

Audition Deadline - Saturday, November 23rd.

USB and XLR microphones are preferred for recording. We ask for as little amount of background noise as possible.

With your audition, please include your contact info. Discord preferred!

Recording will begin quickly! Multiple script packs will be sent over time. We don't expect turn around time to be within a few days of scripts being sent, but we do ask for a timely manner and communication.

This project is not paid, as it is a fan made passion project. That being said, main characters will have a lot of lines to record. This is a project that will extend over at least the next 6-12 months.

Darcy is a grumpy little scrapper, who has a hidden genius and soft spot for a small few. As a young girl who had to grow up really early and quickly, she has a less than idealistic outlook on life and a low opinion of people. Darcy is full of street smarts and very sarcastic. {Darcy is a HUMAN KID, around the age of 12.}

She's the one in the group chat who constantly sends questionable memes and says borderline controversial stuff. Edith is highly concentrated on upholding the values she learned in her hospitality schooling. She is the newest of the Dhelce nandroids, and suffered minor damage during her transport. Edith is the shy, more soft-spoken friend of the group and is prone to freezing up in social situations, especially when they deal with any sort of emotions. She desperately wants friends, but her training and values make her her own worst enemy. {Edith is a Dhelce Nandroid, so her voice will be slightly edited to sound robotic}

Bree is the deeply introverted one of the group. She tries her hardest to blend in and not draw attention to herself. She puts up a front, which isn't a part of nandroid programming. While the rest of the nandroids are people oriented, Bree is not. Deep down, she has a seething contempt towards most life forms, but has a soft spot for a select few. She also secretly dislikes most of her peers, but tries hard to hide it. When she glitches out, sometimes her true feelings just spill out. {Bree is a Dhelce Nandroid, so her voice will be slightly edited to sound robotic}

Noah has the most 'balanced' personality of the bunch, but is the one with a 'weird side'. And when we say weird, we mean WEIRD. Some of the things that come out of her mouth make the other nandroids say, "Chill out, PLEASE". She is also a MASSIVE flirt; one of the human traits that isn't usual for robots to have. But her weirdness comes from a deep down place of wishing she wasn't so lonely, of wishing she wasn't a nandroid who was touch deprived. {Noah is a Dhelce Nandroid, so her voice will be slightly edited to sound robotic}
