Hello all, we're back once again and unfortunately, we will have to recast as our main protagonist has resigned from this project. We wish him all the best moving forward, of course! This is an emergency recast because we have been invited to join a new mod for Umineko, known as Umineko Concerto, where our dub will be coded into the mod of the game itself, meaning that this will be a long term commitment and require a lot of work. If you do believe you can take the time to be part of our team and help us create an amazing mod for a game we love, feel free to audition!
And once again, the same rules apply.
1. You must be 15 or older to participate in this project. Umineko deals with some very dark themes and it's not something I'm comfortable involving children in.
2. You must be ready for the long haul, especially if you are auditioning to voice act as a character. This will be a project that takes a long time and everyone in this Episode will be needed in all others and we do not wish to recast with each Episode.
3. You must have a discord account and join our server. The entire staff will meet and go over everything we wish to do with the project there.
4. Knowledge of Umineko's plot is not required, but it is appreciated. For a project like this, all staff members will be spoiled on the plot so if you do not wish to learn spoilers for your first time seeing Umineko, then I suggest you don't join the staff.
Sensitive themes such as:

-Child neglect

-Suicide idealization
-Sexual assault
-Incest
-Gory descriptions of death
-Body dysphoria
-Various mental health issues

Voice Actor
The main protagonist of Umineko, Battler is the son of Rudolf and his first wife, Asumu. He left the Ushiromiya family 6 years ago after his mother passed away and this year is the first time he's come to Rokkenjima since.
Battler is a very boisterous person who's main goal at the family conference is to reconnect with his cousins, but at the same time, he is a typical 18 year old boy. He is also a fan of mystery novels, which could come in handy on this island...
Voice reference: Battler is voiced by Ono Daisuke. His voice is very expressive and a bit on the medium side.
Note: Battler is 18 years old and, due to this, makes many sexual innuendos, especially during the early chapters of Episode 1. Please be aware of this if you are auditioning for him.
