Eagleflight's Hope Animated is an animated project adapting the story of Eagleflight, a RiverClan warrior who faces various challenges and adversity to regain hope.

WHAT IS NEEDED?
This Casting Call is primarily for voice actors, but we are also accepting various artists and animators as well for the project.
AUDITION RULES AND GUIDELINES
The first casting call closes on September 5th, 2024 at 12AM Pacific Time. There are no plans for an extension as of yet.
DISCORD IS MANDATORY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT.
As per Discord TOS, users must be 13 or older to audition.
You must follow me on CCC so I can contact you if you receive a role.
You can audition for and potentially be cast in multiple roles.
Clear audio, please. No background noise, fans, etc.
Please ensure that you are committed to the project. Depending on the role you have, you will most likely need to work for the entire duration of the project.
You may audition with an accent that is not your own, just provide two takes: one with the accent, and the other without for each line.
FOR CHARACTERS THAT REQUIRE TWO TAKES: please refer to the description of the character if two takes are required, usually due to the character aging as the story progresses. Please provide a mature and younger voice for each line.

Graystar is the current leader of RiverClan at the beginning of the story, as well as the mate to her deputy Goosewing and mother to Rainfeather, Mossmouse, and Ridgefrost. She has served RiverClan well for seasons to come, but unfortunately, after a battle with WindClan, WindClan warrior Skyscar delivered a great injury to her back. The injury cost her one of her nine lives as well as permanently affecting her walking ability, with her occasionally walking with a limp. She doubts her ability to lead, but her imposter syndrome is combated by Goosewing, who assures her she is a great RiverClan leader. When she dies, her mate Goosewing succeeds her as RiverClan's new leader, Goosestar, and dedicates his leadership to keeping her memory alive.

(excited, hopeful) New healthy kits in the nursery! StarClan, keep them safe.
After Graystar's death, Goosewing is appointed the new leader of RiverClan, Goosestar. He is mates with Graystar and is the father of their kits, Rainfeather, Mossmouse, and Ridgefrost. He is very loyal to RiverClan and immensely questions his daughter Ridgefrost's loyalty when she chooses to move to ThunderClan to pursue a relationship with the warrior Heronlight. He is devastated by Graystar's death and dedicates his leadership to keeping her memory alive, often making choices for his own emotional benefit rather than thinking of the Clan. When other Clan leaders question his ability to lead, he questions if he is taking his leadership in the right path, and seeks guidance in his Clanmates.

(exhausted) Perhaps I have… overworked myself too much.
(assertive) We cannot risk any more attacks! Send a patrol to the ShadowClan borders immediately!
Burnetstorm (Burnetkit in the prologue) is the older sister to Tallheart and the only daughter of Myrtlefrost and Sandstream. When her brother decides to stay in ThunderClan to pursue his relationship with Frostwind, she and Eagleflight bond over the grief from his change. She later becomes mates with Snakefoot, and continues to loyally serve RiverClan.
NOTE: Burnetkit grows up over the course of the series, so a younger and mature voice is required. PLEASE DELIVER EACH LINE TWICE, first with a younger voice and second with a mature voice.

(empathetic) Grief is a horrible thing to go through alone.
(determined) WindClan has no right to invade us!
Petalwhisker (Petalkit in the prologue) is the younger sister of Eagleflight and youngest daughter of Roseflower and Stormpelt. She is not outspoken, though is very passionate about following the warrior code, and values it greatly. She and Eagleflight often bicker regarding their stances, leading to the two sisters frequently questioning each other throughout their warriorhood.
NOTE: Petalkit grows up over the course of the series, so a younger and mature voice is required. PLEASE DELIVER EACH LINE TWICE, first with a younger voice and second with a mature voice.

(exhausted) Do we really have to do this?
(interrogating) StarClan, or the warrior code. Which do you answer to first?
Roseflower is a RiverClan warrior and queen, mother to Eagleflight and Petalwhisker and the mate to Stormpelt. She is very motherly and wishes for her kits to become close, despite the two disapproving. Despite her cheerful bursts of energy, Roseflower occasionally has a hard time with her emotions.

(exhausted, motherly) Settle down. Please... That’s enough, you two!
(upset) Why do you blame me for this? All I am trying to do is show that I care!
(protective) Eagleflight, I don’t think you’re making the right decision. Take some time to think.
The mate of Roseflower and father to Eagleflight and Petalwhisker, Stormpelt is a very dedicated warrior of RiverClan. He loves having fun with his family but keeps his duty to serve as a high priority.

(enthusiastic) I’d love to hunt with you, Eaglepaw! But you’re a new apprentice, and I don’t want you to get hurt.
(reassuring) I was friends with Sparrowsong in our apprentice days. He’ll be a great mentor to you, Eaglepaw!
(stressed, nervous) Eagleflight! Were you at the ShadowClan borders? What happened?!
The mother of Burnetstorm and Tallheart and mate to Sandstream, Myrtlefrost is a RiverClan warrior who takes her duties as a warrior very seriously. She disliked staying in the nursery since she believed that it was lowering her status as a great RiverClan warrior, and was relieved to finally return to her role as a Clan warrior. Despite such, she maintains a close bond with her kits, but is often seen questioning Tallheart's actions and loyalty.

(relieved) I’m just ready to go back on hunts with Sandstream again!
(shocked, nervous) Rumors?! I hope Tallpaw doesn’t turn out to be a traitor!
(lonely) I could use a young companion. Perhaps I should ask for one of Fawnheart’s kits to be my apprentice.
The mate of Myrtlefrost and father to Burnetstorm and Tallheart, Sandstream is RiverClan warrior who is passionate about his duties. He has strong feelings towards other Clans depending on their relationship with RiverClan. Despite the controversies regarding Tallheart's decisions, Sandstream does his best to maintain a good relationship with his son.

Animators assist with the animation process and will be chosen different scenes/parts to animate. Animators will not be forced to conform to a certain style and all styles are accepted, similar to a MAP project. DISCORD IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

Concept Artists assist with designing concepts for the characters, including creating concept sheets of characters to provide to the animators.

The son of Myrtlefrost and Sandstream and younger brother to Burnetstorm, Tallheart is the deuteragonist of the story. He is best friends with Eagleflight and bonds with her throughout their time as apprentices. However, he is initially confused about his feelings regarding love, prompting him to make controversial decisions that affect his reputation among the Clans.
