Dune: Part 3
Project Overview
Hello!
This is my personal adaption from Dune Messiah! It is a small sequence, around a few minutes of what could be the introduction of the book if it was made into a production. (I am super inspired by the recent Dune movies by Denis Villeneuve!)
I am a storyboard artist so I have created a short animatic. I am looking to find people to collaborate with to make the drawings come to life! I would love to make some connections and make more of these short film scenes and share them around the world!

Fremen Character: Farok
Voice qualities: Older, deeper toned, a bit of rasp and grit
Farok is an old Fremen man that used to fight in Paul's Jihad. He is introduced in the story as one of the fremen that betrays Paul by helping the conspirators. He is from the Southern areas, therefore he has a fremen accent when he speaks english, similar to Stilgar in the Dune movies.

You have seen many seas. I have only seen this one. Yet I know something about seas which you do not.
One man sank below that water... another man arose from it.
You're here, have a seat.
Character: Scytale
Voice quality: Masculine, deep, strong
Scytale is introduced in this part of the story as a character that can shape shift. He is a face dancer. In this scene, he changes into Duncan Idaho, therefore gaining his voice and pitch. He wears a cloak that covers most of his face. I am trying to portray him in the beginning as a mysterious figure, so the way he talks should have a hint of that effect.

And yet you've changed. Why are you helping us now?
I see it made a profound impression on you.
So, tell me... What happened during your jihad?
