Dream SMP: The Animated Series is in need of voice actors for Episode One, as well as future episodes. We are a volunteer project adapting the events of the Dream SMP into an animated series. Discord required. Our server can be found here: https://discord.gg/dsmptas

Tommy, 16 years old, is a thrill-seeking teenage boy with little to no self-preservation skills and a habit of getting himself in trouble. He’s the embodiment of perseverance — the indomitable human spirit. Nothing can stop Tommy Innit, not even himself. Sometimes this drives him into situations he shouldn’t be in, but he always pulls through in the end. Despite his boisterous and almost rude exterior, he’s a sensitive guy with a heart of gold.
Tommy is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

[You’re bursting with excitement, celebrating a victory after many failed attempts… You’re definitely overreacting.]
(laughing giddily) “Haha, yes! Yes! I did it! Take that, bitch! Yeah, you hear me!? They call me the man with the plan for a reason! (hooting and hollering) FUCKIN’ EAT IT, DICKHEAD!”
[Your best friend has pointed out that the items you’ve gathered are clearly something you cannot afford. You brush off the accusation with ease and humor.]
“Me!? I bought everything in that pile with my blood, sweat, and manly tears, Tubbo.”
[You’re completely overwhelmed. You’re yelling, overcome with indignation and panic. As the source of your concern continues to escalate, you’re hit with a sudden feeling of helplessness, desperation and urgency bleeding into your voice.]
“Why - why would you do that!? What the fuck is wrong with you!? Hey, stop! Stop it! (shaky breath) Stop it. Let him go.”

Tubbo is a naive 16-year-old boy. He’s endearing and lovable to those around him due to his profoundly caring and self-sacrificing habits. Though these traits are to a fault, making him a bit of a pushover at times. Conditioned in his youth into behaving more like a machine than a kid, Tubbo is learning to be more human.
tas!Tubbo is a remastered version of the original c!Tubbo. He has a much richer backstory than our source material for narrative progression purposes. This may make him somewhat different from the Tubbo our audience is used to.
Tubbo is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

[You’re ready to start the day. You greet your superior with friendly enthusiasm, turning sheepish when he questions you on the whereabouts of your best friend.]
"Hi, Wilbur! What do you need me to do today? Other than the walls. (Beat) Oh — sorry, Tommy’s still asleep, sir. (Contemplative hum) I, uh, I already tried.”
[You’re coming to a realization that a situation you just heard of was the final straw in a conflict and escalation was inevitable. This is horrifying to your character.]
“Surely not. Tommy, really — this is… (trails off) This was such a bad idea. It’s literally the worst thing that could have happened.”
[Another character, severely injured, is waking up after having been near death. You are leaning over them, surveying their wounds. You start off trying to be soothing, but you can’t help the subtle grief in your voice when recounting the experience. When the other starts complaining about their injury, you give level reassurance.]
“Holy crap, you’re awake. (shaky exhale) I genuinely thought you wouldn’t make it. It was — I — I’m glad you’re okay. (beat) Your, uh, your shoulder’s alright — it’ll take a couple of days to heal, I’d suppose."

George, late-twenties, is a simple guy — he tends to follow the path of least resistance and is adverse to change. With his nonchalant, apathetic, and borderline nihilistic behavior, he’s emotionally detached and very rarely regards things as worthy of his effort. he seems disconnected from just about everything; very few things are of importance to him, and material possessions are the least of his concerns.
George is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

[Out of your comfort zone, you’re being pressured to address something you aren’t even sure how you feel about as you struggle to unpack your feelings under this weight. You try to be dismissive, but feel even more crowded.]
“What do you mean? No? I mean, there’s nowhere else for me to go, why would I - (Pause, as if cut off) It’s not just that… I wouldn’t — (Unsettled pause) Just… Stop it. I — I don’t like this. I’m staying, alright? Are you happy?”
[Your line is neutral, but there’s a constantly underlying tone of sass.]
"Okay. (Pause) What. Am I supposed to do something about it? Ugh. Fine.”
[Soft spoken and concerned, you’re at your friend's side after he sustains an injury. Despite you brushing off the severity of the wound, your voice fails you. It is that bad.]
"…Dream. Dream, get up. This isn’t funny. Stop being dramatic, it’s not — it’s not that bad.”

Billzo is a wild, young businessman and a big risk-taker, he never misses an opportunity for anything. His cameo is brief, but he is the beginning of a critical web of connections.
Billzo is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

[You lean across a table, a condescending note to your voice as you tease your friend across from you. You’re clearly having a great time.]
“He’s more so annoying to me, but to each their own, ey? ‘Sides, I don’t think he’d let anyone boss him around but you. It’s almost cute, he’s like a puppy.”
[Your tone is matter-of-fact and stand-off-ish, as if you’re struggling to accept something. You eventually ease your interrogation with a lighthearted joke as you notice the other person’s discomfort.]
“I don’t… (trails off) So you’re leaving? Forever? I don’t get it. You’ve got plenty here, what’s out there for you but - bugs, no showers, and getting mauled to death by monsters? Hey. You know as well as I do, that’s gonna happen eventually.”[You’ve been offered a deal, but it puts you at a ridiculous disadvantage. Laughing, you entertain the idea one last time, but not without a threat as your precious time has been wasted until this point.]
(Laughing) "I’m not stupid, mate. You’re practically made of money… So start talkin’ serious numbers. Try robbing me blind one more time. We’ll see how it ends for you.”

Dream, mid-twenties, is a celebrity known for his tactical genius and quick, calculated decision-making, known by the world as the reigning Manhunt champion. A man turned into a machine, he is seeking his roots and disconnecting from the limelight in hopes of finding himself again. Jaded from the permanence of death and adverse to vulnerability, he’s been conditioned by his journeys and the violent nature of the manhunts to become who he is now; the question is whether or not he will be able to undo that damage.
Dream is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

[You’re lightly poking fun at one of your best friends, your closest companion. With some warmth in your voice, you joke with him.]
“Come on, now. Don’t be a baby — we’ve still got an hour of sunlight, there aren’t any monsters that are gonna come out and get you. You’re a big boy, you can protect yourself.”
[You are in turmoil; the cold, intense anger you are feeling is overpowering. You can feel yourself spiraling into a violent state of mind.]
“Maybe you should be scared of me. Maybe I’m wasting my time trying to get through to you with words. Maybe I should beat the shit out of you.”
[You are giddy from the feeling of power after trashing the area around your enemy’s base. You want to see them surrender, or to see them fail. As they watch you in horror, you shout to them an ultimatum — a threat, a promise.]
“I want to see WHITE FLAGS. WHITE FLAGS OUTSIDE YOUR BASE, BY TOMORROW, AT DAWN, OR YOU ARE DEAD!”

Sapnap, 20 years old, is brash, fiery, and aggressive. He acts on emotion and impulse, and what he does with those feelings tends to be unpredictable. He deeply values his relationship with others and will do anything — even when it’s something he shouldn’t — to get their attention.
Sapnap is male but is able to be voiced by any Gender.

“I DON’T GIVE A SHIT! And - and I don’t fucking get why you’re even asking! You showed me, you showed both of us, that you’re just… you’re just USING us. So just — shut up, shut up! And LEAVE.”
[You’re irritated by a stupid question from someone you’re not on good terms with. You respond with sarcasm and bitterness.]
“Yeah, no, we’re doing great. Thanks for asking.”
[You’re boasting after a victory despite the low possibility of success.]
“That wasn’t close, that was clutch. There’s a difference, it’s ‘cause I’m a god.”
