Project Overview
Doraemon is a Japanese manga and anime series created by Fujiko Fujio.
Doraemon, a cat robot from the 22nd century, is sent to help Noby Nobita, a young boy, who scores poor grades and is frequently bullied by his two classmates, Takeshi Goda (nicknamed "Big G") and Sneech Honekawa (Gian's sidekick). Noby and Doraemon are the closest and truest friends of all time. They both have a strong bond and will never leave each other's side.
Doraemon is sent to take care of Nobita by Sewashi Nobi, Nobita's future grandson, so that his descendants can improve their lives. Doraemon has a four-dimensional pouch in which he stores unexpected gadgets that help improve his life. He has many gadgets, which he gets from The Future Departmental Store, such as Bamboo-Copter, a small piece of headgear that can allow its users to fly; Anywhere Door, a pink-colored door that allows people to travel according to the thoughts of the person who turns the knob; Time Kerchief, a handkerchief that can turn an object new or old or a person young or old; Translator Tool, a cuboid jelly that can allow people to converse in any language across the universe; Designer, a camera that produces dresses; and many more.
Nobita's closest friend and love interest is Sue Minamoto, who eventually becomes his wife in the future and has a child with him named Soby Nobita. Noby is often bullied by Goda and Suneech, but they are shown to be friends in some of the episodes, and especially the movies. In most episodes, a typical story consists of Noby taking a gadget from Doraemon for his needs eventually causing more trouble than he was trying to solve

You will help write a english adaptation of the anime series Doraemon based on existing translated subtitled and dubbed material from the franchise, which will be provided to you during discord meetings as reference while rewriting lines to match the lip flaps. The goal is to complete the script for 2 episodes (4 segments) a week and all writers (including myself) will be assigned one segment (11 minutes of footage) to write. Outside of the discord calls you can work on your own schedule as long as your segment is done before deadline.

Doraemon is a blue robotic cat who is sent back in time by a young boy named Soby to improve the circumstances of his great great grandfather, Noby so that his descendants may enjoy a better future. Doraemon himself is a caring and fun loving bot who can get be pretty loud and obnoxious at times whether he's helping Noby with homework or excited to eat his favorite treats. Doraemon also has a fourth-dimensional pocket on his body from which he can acquire various colorful, awesome, and futuristic gadgets, tools and play things from a future department store, mostly each one he acquires in each story are to help out Nobita Elongation with anything he has trouble with in the story. *if your going to audition i would recommend watching these videos*

Noby is a rather lazy person who has a cycle of constantly napping after school, keeping him up late when he wakes up late for school. This cycle of laziness occurs almost every day, keeping him up late at night and wake up late the next morning, hindering him academically. Noby is very dependent on Doraemon and begs for multiple things, much to his disapproval. Many things that Noby wishes for include; vengeance on his bullies, a better product than what Sneech brags about, and privileges. Despite Noby flawed personality, he is a good person that is a rather likable character with a couple of positive traits. He is good-hearted and generous to others as well. He is known to take pity on stray animals and is kind to most people in need of help, sometimes even Big G and Sneech who bully him often. Nobita's best trait is his great creativity,His thoughts from out of the box lead to new and bizarre ideas of ways to use Doraemon's high tech devices. *if you're going to audition please watch this video*

Sue Shizuka Morris is a smart and kind neighborhood girl. She is, unlike Noby, a quick-witted and very studious child and Unlike Noby, Sneech, and Big G, she is not a fan of video games. She cares for weaker people, abused animals, and neglected dolls. She wishes to be a nurse or an air-hostess when she grows up. Both jobs reflect her kind nature. Sue loves her dolls a lot, to the extent that she loves them more than her own friends.
Hey Noby what's up?
(confused/angry) So you're telling that freaking little gadget of Doraemon was the cause of my violin getting destroyed!
(strict) Alright Big G that's enough! don't you think Noby had enough of a beating today?
Sneech's personality is described as a cunning, prideful, cocky, arrogant, and narcissistic, as he always brags about unusual (and expensive) stuff including toys, comics, etc, he often brags about his dad's position as a president director of a company and holds a deep respect towards him (he wants to be the successor of the company). His highest and most "easy-to-see" personality is narcissism, in which often he likes to look in the mirror and talk about how handsome he is (like the queen in Snow White). Some of the stories start with Sneech showing off some new video game or toy which evokes Noby's envy and irritation. He has extensive knowledge of science and is a talented artist and designer .He has the habit of inviting Gian and Sue to see something or go somewhere but always leaves Noby out with one excuse or another. When he did invite Noby to go somewhere, it was only to scare Noby or because Sue got so fed up that she refuses to go with him unless Noby gets invited.Whenever he is in so much pain or have been greatly humiliated, he usually cries for his mother.
(Bragging) Hey Noby look what i got! yup your looking at the new mega cool ultra bot 3000 model kit Jealous?
No fair Big G why do i have to be punished over what those dorks Noby and Doraemon's did you should be after them not me (screams)
(bored/nonchalant) Hmm? yeah it's my grandpa's 500K Dinosaur fossil i was pretty bored of it
Dorami is a responsible, kind and sensible robot. She is in many ways the opposite of Doraemon, with the possibility that she had taken better care of Nobita than him. Dorami has a dislike for dirtiness and is a 'neat freak' and has a fear of cockroaches similar to Doraemon's fear of mice and is known to care for Noby when Doraemon's not there. She can be described as a sweet, friendly and cute robot cat. However, she can have a temper sometimes or when needlessly provoked. It is stated that the reason of Dorami's sweet personality is because of consuming the clean oil. In contrast of Doraemon's more direct personality as a result of drinking the waste.
(excited) Big Brother great to see you!
