ANIMATORS NEEDED! DOODLES: Pilot Episode

🎬 PROJECT: Doodles (Indie Animated Pilot – Seeking Animators!)

Hey there! I’m Frantz, an independent creator working on Doodles, an original animated pilot for YouTube and Newgrounds. The project is already in development as we are currently writing the script for our pilot episode, and I’m currently looking to bring a few more animators on board to help bring the project to life!

🖊️ ABOUT THE SHOW:

Doodles is a surreal comedy about three chaotic siblings living in a town drawn straight from a high schooler’s sketchbook. It’s weird, energetic, and (hopefully) heartfelt too.
The Doodle triplets—David, May, and Jake—navigate the nonsensical town of Sgraffito while dealing with a strange world filled with quirky, wacky characters. From sibling squabbles to supernatural world-ending adventures and mishaps, they face bizarre adventures in a town brought to life from within high schooler—Sophie Evan's—sketchbook. Despite the constant chaos, at its heart, the show explores themes of sibling bonds, teamwork, and the challenge of finding your place in a crazy, unpredictable world.

🎨 WHO I’M LOOKING FOR:

I’m looking for 2D animators (any software is fine!) who can help with:

• Rough Animators – Bring storyboards to life with expressive key animation.
  

• Clean-up Animators – Refine roughs into clean, on-model linework.
  

• Colorists – Add final colors using preset palettes.

Experience with 2D animation is required. You are able to use any animation software as long as you are able to match the show's style (no vector animation or rigged puppets) and able to send each frame to me or fellow animators to work with. For minimum hassle I'd use Clip Studio Paint but again, use whatever you want.

• You’ll be working alongside a small team of voice actors, artists, and fellow animators in a server with every crew member

• Communication via Discord or Emails

💡 GOAL:

The pilot will be released for free on YouTube and Newgrounds. Even if this is a one-time project, I’m committed to finishing it—and I’d love your help making it the best it can be.
