Dollhouse - A Sims 3 Voice Over Series

Project Overview

Not everything is as it seems in the once pristine life of Adrienne Ferreira. Abandoning pretenciousness for a life of partying, she soon realizes that things aren't always in her favor, no matter how quickly she tries to gain control. With only her best friend, Kat by her side, she must gracefully make her way through one of the worst situations she's placed herself in, and somehow stay on top, even if it means dragging a few heads down in the process. Can she ever regain perfection? Or is she destined to stay on bottom forever?


Excuse the shortness! Trying not to give away spoilers! 


I'm actually really excited about this. The first script is done, and I plan on adding more characters as the story progresses, but here's the cast for now! 


There's LOTS of cursing, general bad language, dirty jokes, etc, so I ask that everyone is fully aware of that, and proceeds with caution. The characters are all terrible human beings, but so am I, so that's what makes it work. 


Everyone who auditions for a character [Sterling auditions in particular] will also be considered for characters in future episodes. Filming 8+ sims at once is hard and terrifying, so yeah, only a couple at a time. 


Feel free to improv lines for any character [my lines are taken straight from the episodes, so they sound weird out of context] and please please please include the reel of crying/laughing/etc if the character denotes that. It just helps with the entirety of the casting :D

  • Update all the characters

    Thanks so much to everyone auditioning and bearing with me as I keep changing the deadline! I promise, everything *should* be finalized by the end of next week, because I've already written 3 episodes (fourth is currently in progress) and I'm just super excited to start. Anyways, this is a small notice about extras, anyone who submits an audition is automatically considered, and if you have any questions, feel free to message/email me or leave a comment. If you want to be an 'extra' (which for me, anyway, is having whatever audition you submitted be considered for characters not yet listed/having a character created to fit your voice for later on in the series) let me know! This is only the first leg of auditions, because there's only a few characters, so keep an eye out for that! The roles for Serena, Elena and Jessa are still open (one audition is posted for Jessa, but it won't open D':) and they're all key in the story, so seriously, audition. but if you already auditioned for Adrienne/Kat/Emelyn/Melanie and just want the role, let me know, haha. The product of too much spoiling and far too much privilege, Emelyn is currently in the process of finding herself, after a constant string of  being held back, due to her strong desire for her own independence. The youngest in the Sheppard family, Emelyn was sheltered extremely starting at a young age, causing an extreme shock to her system once she left home for school. She has since dropped out, and spends her time traveling [on her parent’s dime] and has picked up a few modeling gigs in between. Her current obsession is Paris, with annoying the shit out of her brother being a close second.


Emelyn can be extremely loud and feisty, but can also be extremely loving and sweet as well. Having grown up, much like Adrienne, with a strict routine of manners and discipline, she does tend to give off an aura of being extremely stuck up and pretentious, but, unlike her brother, is actually just, if not more than, crude. Doesn’t have any hidden secrets, but knows everything  about everyone, friends and family non excluded. Her parents are low key terrified of her.


Emelyn is 20 at the start of the series.

The oldest in her small family of four, she is often pushed to the side in favor of her younger sister, Melanie. Fresh out of high school, and ready to explore the world as a grown up, her idea of a good time consists of ranging debauchery and making some very poor life choices.


Overall, Adrienne is rather loud, crude, outspoken, and generally extremely cynical, given her posh upbringing. She carries extreme self esteem issues and refuses to share any details of her past life with anyone aside from her roommate and long time best friend, Kat.


Adrienne often finds herself in rather crude situations of her own belligerence, but underneath the constant RBF and barrage of inappropriately timed jokes, she does have a soft side, which only lasts a few seconds, depending on the person.


Adrienne is 18 at the start of the series [and has a passion for swearing, auditioner be warned]




  • Ah yes, the dreaded question of ‘how in the fuck did I end up here?  It wasn’t the best of situations,  and while I was totally  aware of everything, I sadly had no crutch to justify my poor life choices.

  • I swear, she’s crushed that I left her bullshit private school. I’m already drowning in debt, but you know, I figure I’d flock to the stoners, junkies, and effeminate male gathering ground to stay sane.

Melanie Ferreira

The spoiled younger sister of Adrienne, Melanie uses her mother’s disgust of her sister in order to stay in the spotlight. Melanie is the pinnacle of perfection, doing whatever she can to beat her sister, regardless of the cause.


Melanie is extremely entitled and does anything in order to stay in her mother’s good graces, regardless of how demeaning or ridiculous. Is very poised and polite, but can be extremely cruel and vicious on the inside. She can be rather self destructive, and channels that toward others, specifically Adrienne and her friend group. Melanie attempts to follow in her mother’s footsteps and has the over exaggerated fear of being left alone, much like her mother was months prior to when she was born.


Melanie is basically a smol bitch.


Melanie is 15 at the start of the series.






  • Unlike you, I’m actually doing something with my life. Something doesn’t include fucking the whole town because you’re too insecure to actually settle down with something!



  • Maybe you should try a crash diet. I know you don’t care, but having a fat lesbian as my sister is actually rather insulting.

Kat, as she insists everyone calls her, has a rocky relationship with the rest of her family and keeps extremely little contact with them. More or less the motherly figure between the duo, Kat, while mostly an accessory to Adrienne’s antics, knows the ins and outs of being an adult.


Kat’s personality completely depends on the person she’s with. While mostly friendly and upbeat, she’s known to go from various stages of anger or annoyance rather quickly. Her shortened temper has been mostly contained while living on her own, however.


She’s more often than not contemplating her current relationships, as she wishes to break the cycle of putting others before herself, which in her opinion, got old too fast. Has a passion for everything artistic [as well as alcoholic] and is quite the creative mind.


Kat is 21 at the beginning of the series.






  • Yeah, because she’s so concerned the only good thing that came out of her isn’t chasing after the dream of popping Adderall and wine drinking to cope with a loveless marriage. Your mom’s a piece of shit, you know that?


  • Jesus, how are you remembering all these people? [defensive] And for your information, she didn’t leak hers, they somehow ‘accidentally’ ended up on my phone.

On again, off again girlfriend of Sterling, Jessa is a complex character. She has a very easy time making friends, but can make enemies just as quick, if not more. Jessa has an extreme problem with commitment, and is often calling off her longtime relationship with her boyfriend. Has an extreme dislike toward Emelyn, especially considering how protective she is of her brother, and attempts to drive them apart, though this often times does not work in her favor.

Emelyn looked up to Jessa at one point, finding her life much more exciting than hers, and the two were once close. However, this was merely a ploy to get closer to her brother. Jessa is what you could consider the cheaper model of the two. She dropped out in between her junior and senior year, and hasn’t gone back since. She manages to maintain a luxury lifestyle by mooching off her boyfriend’s family.


Jessa is extremely blunt and sarcastic, but at the same time, rather seductive. Her sex appeal is her biggest [and only] asset


Jessa is 22 at the beginning of the series.





  • [sarcastic] You learn a lot of communication skills in rehab.


  • [falsely innocent] What? All I’m trying to do is make sure that his side-bitch knows her place, that’s all.

Mother to Melanie and Adrienne, what she lacks in parenting is made up in her ability to manipulate. She wasn’t always this nasty, but after years of an unhappy marriage, followed by two unwanted pregnancies and the suicide of her husband, everything changed. She began using this inner torment by attempting to shape every aspect of her children’s lives in order to have them avoid the same fate as her.


Elena’s personality differs, while she can always be seen favoring Melanie, when it’s only herself and Adrienne, she learns to tolerate her. Having been extremely wealthy, she has a variety of resources at hand, coming up to the caliber of Emelyn, she, however, doesn’t always use them for the better of others. Adrienne’s departure from the household crushed her, as it justified how bad of a mother she actually was, and therefore has sent her into ‘materialistic mommy’ mode, where she uses gifts and monetary offers in order to win her daughter back. This, however, doesn’t work in her favor.


Elena is extremely good at hiding her actual feelings and using the art of manipulation to her advantage. Lying and being able to cry on command helps out, too.


Elena is 35 at the start of the series.

Younger sister of Elena, aunt of Adrienne and Melanie. Serena is one of a kind, having spent so many years outside  the family. She loves her eldest niece dearly, yet shares similar opinions with her toward the younger one. Serena is the surrogate mother substitute for Adrienne, having helped raise her for a few years after her father died.


Serena is very much a child at heart, and understands the nuances of attempting to grow up, especially under difficult circumstances. She fits right in with Adrienne’s friend group, and is often confused as Adrienne’s older sister.


Much like her niece, she can become very feisty at will, and isn’t afraid to let the claws out whenever needed.


Serena is 32 at the beginning of the series.


*being able to rapidly curse in spanish is a major plus, regardless of whether or not you can speak it. Literally anyone can still audition, though! :D *

Charlotte 'Holly' Sheppard

Mother of Emelyn and Sterling, Holly is anything but slowed down. Encouraging her children to go beyond the norm, she is extremely young at heart, and, much like Serena and Adrienne, can often be confused as their wizened older sister, rather than their wealthy birth giver.


Can be posh and polite when need  be, but grows extremely tired of this rather quickly. Holly is an energetic, hilarious addition to the Sheppard family, and has a youthful aura about her, following mostly with people in her daughter’s age group, than any of her own friends.


Holly is a force to be reckoned with. Much like her daughter, she’s extremely fierce, slays in practically every aspect, and isn’t afraid to be blunt when need be. She’s rather supportive of both her kids, and is constantly telling Sterling to calm down, and follow more in his sister’s footsteps.


While she may be up in age, Holly is the definition of fabulous.

Eldest child of the Sheppard family, Sterling is actually quite difficult to make out at first. His motives are generally unknown, and aside from his mother and sister, he doesn’t allow many people to get to know the ‘real’ him. Can oftentimes be extremely distant, stoic, and rather brash, however, once the walls break down, he’s pretty much a joy to be around.


Sterling, unlike his sister, prefers to be in the background. His relationship with Jessa gives him the label of being a player, considering how quickly they both are to go on a romantic break and see other people. He finds himself growing further apart from his longtime girlfriend, but refuses to let anyone aside from Emelyn know how he actually feels.


At a young age, he’s taken priority of keeping his family ever since his mother divorced his father. He can be rather overprotective of those he cares about, however, since he’s lived on his own, he’s a bit more lax than that.


Generally the kind of guy to make jokes with a straight face and be the only one to not get them


Sterling is 23 years old at the beginning of the series.





  • [annoyed] Since when do you give a shit about my personal life? I already told you , it’s none of your fucking buisness. Jessa and I are fine, you’re just a spoiled brat because I spend more time with you than with her.

  • [yelling] Would you just shut the hell up? You don’t know me! You don’t know anything about me!


  • [deadpan] So I guess you’re expecting me to swoop in with flowers and chocolate? News flash, princess: Not. Gonna. Happen.
