  • [Sassily] "I'm sure they haven't come out, otherwise I wouldn't be standing here, would I?"

  • "Please. After today, a strange man turning up out of nowhere and talking in a, quite frankly, loopy manner turning out to be an alien is somehow the least out of the ordinary thing that's happened."

  • "I've learned more about life today than I have in the past 20 years. There's so much more out there and I want to see it. But more importantly, if that artefact is as dangerous as you say it is, you're gonna need all the help you can get to get it back."

Jonas is a young, present day man who grows to become somewhat of an older brother figure to Alice, winding both her and The Doctor up but developing a deep, almost familial bond with the two of them. He's rather quippy and jokey but knows when to be serious

  • "Oh come on. Don't think I haven't seen the way you two look at each other, with your puppy dog eyes. I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact that it's so sweet, it's making my blood thicker."

  • "Right, well, as perplexing as this conversation was, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna have a quick lie down."

  • "See, there's another thing! No we aren't! We dont even know any of you. And while you seem to know us, I'm not entirely convinced. What makes you so sure we're the, "Master Detectives" you think we are?"
