Project Overview
Doctor Who: The New Trinity is a dark, adult-oriented re-imagining of the Doctor Who mythos Set in an alternate 2000s Earth ruled by corporate mega-powers, the series explores identity, bodily autonomy, systemic injustice, and the cost of heroism.
This is not a reboot in the traditional sense.
It is best described as:
A non-canon, alternate-continuity reinterpretation
that treats Doctor Who as mythology rather than fixed history.
All events following 1989’s Survival are disregarded, allowing the series to evolve freely while respecting Classic foundations.
Season 2 - Destiny Arize: Synopsis
Following the Doctor and Co's rebuilding of Gallifrey after Rassilon’s reign, he, his brother Irving Braxiatel, and his wife, ex-Lady President Romana, attempt to explore the universe—but a TARDIS malfunction strands them on Earth. Here, they encounter Helen Stacy (aka Valenyra Sol’Thren) The Doctor and Braxiatel’s Younger Sister, her husband Captain George Stacy, and their daughter Gwen Stacy (Thesaryx Ren-Vael), as well as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Mary Jane Watson, and Felicia Hardy/Black Cat.
Spurred into action by The Master, who has seized control of Hammer Industries, the Doctor and his family must ally with S.H.I.E.L.D. to battle The Lizard, Cletus Cassidy/Carnage, and the Green Goblin. The series fuses philosophical inquiry, cyberpunk aesthetics, and superhero tragedy.
